As a Christian I am amazed at how posters can mock Faith but yet want Christians to keep Faith to themselves. Mocking is okay but don't preach it. Seems there is a bit of hypocrisy shown at times.

I'm not mocking anything. I'm just pissed that McDermott kept Peterman around because of his Faith. I don't care how many players thank God after a win for His help, God doesn't give a rat's ass who wins a sporting event.

I suspect Derek is very thankful to Mr Peterman for digging the trench that allowed for the lowest bar position in history.

I heard Deshaun Watson sent him an edible arrangement for taking the focus away from his terrible performance

Based on the timewindow on Josh Allen's avaibility we will have Derek Anderson for the Colts and Patriots games.  Then we have our bye, JA will be ready to go, we can cut Peterman and add a useful player.  Let's speculate what we can learn in the next couple of games

1.  With a less mobile, but far more experience QB who can read coverages and hopefully not run into sacks, we can get an actual read on our current starters on the offensive line.  Plus it's time to get a look at Wyatt Teller and Ike Botteger in game action.

2.  With a more experienced QB, there is a possibility that we might see what we have in our WR group.  Is Benjamin a bust and should not be offered a new deal or is the problem that's he's not getting a rapport with Allen, let's see what Zay Jones has and even consider a double TE set and a single back in the backfield look considering Clay and Croom are better then Holmes, Ray-Ray and Foster

3.  Let's see the team play complimentary football, improve on special teams, play ball control and field position and use the great defense we have to win this Sunday and try and stay competitive with the Patriots on Monday night.

After those two games we are on a bye and can reassess and move forward for the 2nd half of the season.

We have a washed up QB, who hasn't been in a uniform for a year..............

We have a half baked OLine.............

We have terrible WR's.................

Do you think Indy will be looking for Shady to run the ball this week ?

Good Lord,................we stink.....................

Thank You I agree. But the plus is NO DEAD CAP MONEY NEXT YEAR AND A LOT OF ROOM TO ROAM SIGNING GOOD PLAYER  plus 10 draft picks maybe more  comimg. I would not be mad if they traded Shady or Kelvin Benjamin If they could get anything for KB

Bite your tongue.   God is a Bills fan and you know it.

It is his way of teaching us humility.

Of course you are sure he kept Peterman because of his faith. Must be because after all it's been posted on here.

Here's the really funny, or sad, or maybe tragic part of it.

Anderson will come in off the street, having been out of the game for a year, and deliver the most competence at the position we have seen so far this year.

Suck on that for a while, Bills fans!

We can learn that McBeane are idiots and have botched the QB position for this season fantastically.

I was hoping for a well-thought piece of feedback, but alas I get this.

So, what was your idea for the 2018 QB room, let's go back before we traded Tyrod and before the draft.  Please oh wise one, give me and the rest of the board your plan.

Or, simply go away, idiot

I think we're going to see what we saw from Orton when he came in here for Marrone.   He's not going to take those hits like Allen did.

As long as he can string together some wins like Orton did i'm in !! The bigger question though is what can Allen learn from Anderson during this time ??

It wouldnt surprise me to see Peterman off the bench this week. DA has no experience behind our line and no chemistry with the receivers. He also hasn't been hit in 2 years. He will see alot of hits and zero separation from the receivers.

Unless the oline decides to man up and run block this week with 8 in the box, DA isnt gonna make it. Just my opinion.

Wonder how bad DA will have to be in order to be benched for NP? That could be its own OP

Well I think there are valid criticisms of the way this FO has handled the position.  Bridgewater was right there but we hesitated, and he would  have beaten out Allen and probably played the entire season.    There were other directions we could have gone, but sticking with Peterman has really put us in a bad situation and I think the front office and McDermott should rightly be criticized.

Hey I actually hope you’re right, but that’s asking a lot of a career journeyman who’s been out multiple years and is (presumably) not in game shape or anywhere close

If there is a position that doesn't need you to be in super shape it is QB. I mean, take a look at Big Ben and tell me he is in shape.

It's more mental than physical. But yeah, it helps if you are in shape as well.

I am hoping that Hughes, Kyle, and the rest of the D just walked up to Anderson and said get us 180-200 yards passing and we will do the rest!

I assumed offense players were doing the lobbying, but it could have very well have been members of the D (or both most likely).

The only question that is of any importance is.....What can Josh Allen learn from Derek Anderson starting the next two games?

Apparently quite a lot according to the "let him watch from the sideline" camp.

I think he'll learn very little, if anything, nor do I think he can be "ruined" by being played, when healthy of course.

What a pathetic situation. No matter how you spin it.

The real question is could even Russ Brandon's powers be sufficient to create a positive spin here?

I don't think Russ could do it!
