As good as the defense played, as good as the O line played, as the Bills RBs played.

Game ball goes to Brian Daboll for finally utilizing his best players on offense in Shady, Ivory and not asking Allen to carry the team.

Gotta go defense man. Ryan Lewis, Phillip Gaines.. guys balled out!

Allen = slowly but surely....he's learning and getting better, inch by inch. His attitude is everything.

Play calling started to get away from Daboll after the first 2-3 offensive possessions, but it was a good plan going in. Give Allen quixk reads and moving pockets...good way to get Allen in a rhythm and build confidence.

Long developing route concepts should be put towards the back of the playbook.

Is it just me or is our D finally developing an in your face personality? Getting after it even after JA threw a pick and holding them to a FG was the ballgame before the ballgame with House $$

They had that last year. They just needed to trust the offense, and the offense proved they can take a knockout performance like that and not screw it up and win!

That's going to make the defense play their guts out every week. A good enough performance on the other side of the ball is a straight up 100 voltage charge to amp up this defense.

There was some concern in the middle of the 2nd half, but he seemed to wisen up when needed.

Allen had a tough game but he started to come on in the 4th quarter. A boneheaded Holmes drop killed a very nice looking drive.

What happened was Jackson hit the ball with his hand between Holmes hands as Holmes was about to catch it. He knocked it up in the air and caught it. Great play by him actually.

I JUST WANT TO SAY I'M HAPPY JOE TO PREEMPTIVELY RESPOND TO YOUR INEVITABLE GLEE AT HOW ALL THE "HATERS OUT THERE DOUBTING THE PROCESS" GET THAT THROUGH YOUR THICK SKULL. GAME WAS AN EMOTIONAL ROLLERCOASTER AND WE WON! AND WE PLAYED A GAME WITH A PERFORMANCE THAT SHOWS WE CAN COMPETE WITH ANYBODY. ONE OF MY FAVORITE GAMES IN A VERY LONG TIME. WAY MORE IMPLICATIONS IN IT THAN THE VIKINGS GAME.

everybody wait for Joe to post with Glee about how stupid half of TBD is. It's.. inevitable

Not sure who Joe is, but eff em!

That's true, if Holmes had ran back to the ball then it would have been a catch. Not sure if Holmes was supposed to do that.

If the Bills do not attempt to stretch the field a number of times a game the D will just load the box.

Daboll still has to call an NFL caliber game.

Josh needs to be able to attempt to go down field.

He was off a lot today but he needs  receivers  (Holmes) to make those catches.

With Holmes's size I expect him to be a lot stronger at the point of the catch. Thank god for our running game today because the rest of the offense looked hopeless.

The game reminded me of the Falcons games last year. The Bills got lucky behind some timely turnovers and a big kick at the end of the game. But good teams find ways to win and that's an underrated quality for a team to have. The defense looks to be picking up where they left off last year but with better run defense overall. The offense is still a work in progress but Shady seems to be going which will lift all boats. Special teams was sloppy but came through in the end.

This has been a very weird and inconsistent season but at 2-3 facing a tough schedule you have to trust the process for now.

Oh, and Taron Johnson is good!

He is! Secondary beefed up even more out of nowhere!

I'm critical of this regime but not critical whatsoever of McD's magical secondary powers. It's the difference that let's this team win games this year and last year.
