If you want to use the draft value chart to compare, the Jets paid 2940 for 2200. Bills picks 12, 22, 53, 65, and next year's 2nd would be worth about 3000. (2nd pick is 260). Bills would have No. 2 and still hold a 2nd and 3rd this year.

Why would anyone accept that value? Jets overpriced the market. Getting to #2 will be more expensive than 3000. It'll cost 3500-3700.

Jets just ruined the trade up market. Bills will have to give a lot more now. It'll cost them both first and both 2nds to move to #2.

If the Giants really like one of the QBs and are intent to bring in Manning's successor to learn under him, there simply won't be any trades up to #2.

Just stop.  The Bills have ammunition to move to 2 if they want

Browns take a QB

Giants take Barkley.

I agree they have the ammunition but they have to want to do it. The Bills imo could have put a better offer together than what the Jets did.

This is terrible news.

This is what happens when you play games. If you like one of these QBs you go up ASAP. Now another team will move up to 2 and block us out and we are !@#$ed. There is no reason to sit around waiting to move up. All we get is left with whatever guys are left. Go up to 1 or 2 regardless of cost, or just forget qb. Good for the Jets. I hate the jets more then any other team but they will be rewarded for actually getting it.

At this rate, the Colts will probably still get Chubb at 6. It's a smart play for them. They likely didn't want to drop all the way down to 12.

1-Darnold

2-??????

3-QB

4-Barkley

5-QB

6-Chubb

The Giants pick at 2 is a huge ????? Do they go QB, do they go Barkley? But it is looking like Barkley, Darnold, Rosen, Allen, Mayfield all going top 5. Colts get a nice group of picks and still get Chubb in front of Tampa. Great work.

What do you mean?  The Jets got "raped".  They gave up 1 first and 3 2nds to move up a measly 3 spots.  That's not good at all.

whoops.  the notification I got from the NFL app didn’t mention the Jets giving up their #6 overall.

we can still trade 12 and 22 to get to 4 with cleveland if they are still willing to deal as long as they get there qb at 1.  Giants go barkley. Jets go qb aand We most likely end up with allen at 4 im assuming.

That’s a giant price to pay

Does seem a little steep considering the Colts are only dropping back 3 spots. Bills would have given up the same plus the #22 pick at minimum. But at the end of the day you got to give up whatever you have to if you believe in your guy. Hopefully we work something out for #1 or #2 still.

You mean Mayfield or Jackson??

Cleveland: Likely taking Darnold

Giants: Rosen, Mayfield

Jets: Rosen, Allen, Mayfield

Broncos: Allen, Mayfield or Jackson

Bills: Leftovers

We are doing 2004 all over again. You have to get the top guy.

One can't blame Beane. I think he is doing the right thing. If he traded to 3, what's stopping someone from jumping him at 2? Now he knows he has to get to 2 and is going to do anything in his power to get there.

1 - Darnold

2 - Rose

3 - Allen

4 - Barkley

5 - Mayfield

6 - Chubb

Depends on demand. It's possible Bills and Jets fought for pick 3. Pick 2 would have similar value. But if Buffalo wasn't willing to do that for 3, they likely won't for 2.

Quit being so dramatic.  Besides Darnold, these guys are all mushed together with concerns.  There is zero reason to give up everything to get a guy with concerns.

Huge overpayment.  I'm sorry, I'm not going to number 2.  I can't imagine what it would take.

12 sucks. I don't know how you people have forgotten 2001-2016 already. We always drafted 9-18 outside of a couple years.

This is all a waste and an epic failure if they don't get to two now.

You guys are delusional if you can be happy with anything other than a QB in the first round. They aren't falling.
