transplantbillsfan
Nooooooooooooo!!!!! Allen is seriously the ONLY QB I won't be excited about if we draft. I'll get behind the pick eventually, but I really really don't want us to draft him. Mayfield/Darnold/Rosen/Jackson damn well better be our targets. No more of these raw talents drafted purely based on physical potential!!! Edited March 15, 2018 by transplantbillsfan

KDIGGZ
It would certainly be easier to swallow if they were able to stay put and get Allen if they were planning on picking him anyways but there's 0% chance it plays out like that
RussellDopeland
I don't know...Allen could be great, or he could be the Bills' worst draft choice since, uhm- Bucky Brooks.
IDBillzFan
Dude on NFL Network the other night had Giants taking Nelson, which I only think is important in that most people think they'll take one of the QBs, which is why the trade to Indy's spot would seem to be so critical. Dr. Fong
The part of me that enjoys chaos really wants to see the Giants take a guard with the second overall pick. Can you imagine the meltdown among Giants fans?
baskingridgebillsfan
staying at 12 and having a choice of Mayfield or Rosen would be fine , as for Daniels I get the sentiment but I would want one of the mlbs
TigerJ
If Allen is their guy, it would be great to get him at #12. Bucky, however fell into the trap of thinking the Bills are automatically going to draft a center in the first round since Eric Wood had to retire. Every indication from the Bills is that they think Ryan Groy can and will step in and do just fine. The Bills can use a talent upgrade on the offensive line, but linebacker is easily a more critical need, and Rashaan Evans is still on the board.

NewEraBills
I'd be more excited if we took Mike White or Luke Falk in rd 3 than I would if we take Josh Allen in the 1st round especially at 12 or anything lower. That's all I have to say LOL.

If anything trade down, collect picks, and really overhaul your line.
sven233
I want Josh Allen nowhere near the Buffalo Bills. Look, he may turn out to be good someday, but it is much more likely that he won't. He and Rudolph should be off the Bills board until after the 3rd round. Do whatever it takes to land Darnold, Rosen, or Mayfield. I am not sure which of them will end up being the best, but I want the Bills to pick the one out of those 3 they like the most and do whatever it takes to get him.

He just picked player based on where he thought they would go if every team picked at their designated spot. Not all mock drafters utilize theoretical trades. Allen at 12 wouldn't bother me. 947
Barf!, this draft is the worst case scenario. We move up to #12 & take freaking Allen? Ok, if he's McBeane's guy- at least we didn't trade up to top-3 & do it. And we still have #22 to get a nice LB. Nope, we take a Center. And a 2nd tier prospect no less. buffaloaggie
Look at it this way, teams ahead of 12 and 22 draft QBs, and players at other positions slide to the Bills. I still say Mason Rudolph would be a nice consolation, and we don't stop there drafting QBs.

There’s going to be a lot of movement for th QB’s. Likely from the Bills. oh yeah. Bucky was one of the biggest 2nd round busts in Bills history. atlbillsfan1975
i don’t like it because it smells lazy to me. We know Woods retired . We also know Groy did pretty good in Woods place in 2016. I would rather see a pick in the third round for an interior lineman the Bills like. I also think IF the Bills go QB they will move up one more time to ensure they get their guy. Captain Murica
I can’t wait for the Bills not to take Josh Allen and these so called analysts criticize us for taking Rosen. They'll probably say he’s not built to throw in the cold or something to that nature.
K-9
Brooks, having been in the scouting trenches before, has very good contacts around the league and he’s never been a shill for agents as far as I know, so I wonder how much his mocks reflect what he’s hearing around the community. Rudolph, projected as both a 1st or 2nd, Falk, Lauletta, White, Jackson, etc?) for HIS definition of a franchise QB?....no ,matter what there will be happy AND unhappy campers with whatever he does..... Victory Formation
Allen has high bust potential, but he has so much God given talent at the same time. He would have all the time in the world behind McCarron, I like that pick, but passing on Rashaan Evans at 22 would be big mistake, he would be our Luke Kuechly. OldTimer1960
I *could* imagine that they may end up at 12, if the price to trade up is too steep or if all of the QBs that they rate highest go very early. if they stay at 12, there is a reasonable chance that Mayfield or Allen (or both) are available there. Now, to be clear I would like them to trade up even if it would be for Mayfield or Allen, just to be sure they get who they want most. Still, I can’t understand why Mason Rudolph is not a possiblility in round 1 - great production, multi-year starter and reportedly showed very good knowledge of offenses in interviews. I know that many would be shocked and disappointed if they took Rudolph at 12, but I could understand if they did. I think he is very underrated for reasons that I don’t understand.
