To the bolded, it's easy to say that.

It's another thing to believe it.

He passed a physical before he signed, no?

Bolded is true, but when was the last time Bosa went through a season not injured?

He's missed like 22 games the last 3 seasons.

We all hope he's healthy, I'm sure not betting on it.  He played 14 last season, I'd be happy with that.

I'll bet it's their use of weights. Football players seem to get a lot of hamstring pulls. Does anyone remember a basketball player getting a hammie ?

In the past couple of weeks, Steph Curry and Aaron Gordon.

If we cut him now we save $520k this year and $5.4m next year.

Why would we cut him though?  He is on a 1 year deal and has a calf pull, something I play full court basketball on at age 48 and without the benefit of a training staff.

You heard it here first - save the post - he plays all 17 this year.

You mean all 20, right?

I get this is TSW, so TSW is gonna full on TSW every chance it can add to the theatre of dramatics and negativity...

...but come one...its a pulled calf...hardly concerning.  Its better to just be cautious and keep him out, its not a serious injury, on its own.  Its just OTA's too

Its May...long time until January.

Now back to your regularly scheduled program of beating the dead horse on receivers...lol

It's hard to heal calf injuries.

You can go easy on a hamstring but it's hard to walk at all without aggrivating a calf injury.

They are so often the precursor to a torn achilles.

It's happened so often to so many big name players now that it's odd when people try to  brush it off like you are doing.

The Bills have good depth a DE.   That's the saving grace.  Not the insignificance of the injury for a brittle old pass rusher.

I saw calf injury and immediately thought, thar's an achilles tear a-brewin', mateys.

We are going to have Bosa in Load Management during the season. I also think it would be smart to put Milano on Load Management as well.

these two are needed for the post season. Not to wear them out in season. There is more than enough DEs to manage Bosa health. Dorian Williams can also easily take snaps from Milano keeping him healthy.

Load managment  .  . .  makes me laugh

It was a joke.  Anybody that isn't a little concerned that he's injured already given his history is lying to themselves.  Anybody that thinks the sky is falling is overreacting to a May injury of a calf pull.

I figured the board would take this news well and have a nice, rational, adult discussion about it.

Looking forward to all 22 pages of this thread.

seems like a low number would assume sports book has over under at 77

That actually would be very surprising.  The industry has rigorous standards around testing and ensuring the safety of their actors.  Also, what the f@#$ are they telling me for?  I work in financial services, what do you want me to do about it? And there's no chance that I asked. None.

I caught one after my first scene. The worrying thing is it was an amateur home movie I did with my wife

Bruce played more regular season games his last two seasons in Buffalo (31) than Bosa has in his last three (28).

Bruce hardly ever missed regular season games, while Bosa has missed a lot of regular season games.

I think we all understand that Bosa has an injury history, but thanks for pointing it out anyway.  The point I was making is that this is meaningless to his ability to be ready and meaningless as far as anything concerning the regular season.  If there is an injury at all it is likely equivalent to a scratch, like Smith’s every year pre season injury.    It’s an excuse for his non participation, which is not needed anyway at this time.

Some people will swear there is no such thing as injury prone...

I'm not one of those people.  Yes, sports are always going to have freak occurrences that happen due to bad luck.  But just like athletes can be genetically gifted in strength, speed, agility, etc., they can also be more likely to pull/tear muscles, break bones, etc.  This also gets worse with age and pre-existing injuries that start to compound.

Bosa has proven over and over that he cannot stay healthy.  For the first time in his career, he's got a fresh start outside of Los Angeles.  He doesn't even make it through the first day of OTAs.

He's trending on the up though.

2022 - 5

2023 - 9

2024 - 14

If we can get 14 regular season games out of him and all the Playoffs, I'm good with it.
