Why do coaches always hold up the "one" after a score? Is it really necessary?

Just signaling what unit to go out there.

No different than calling up the punt team on 4th/20 from your own 12.

Now that the Lions and Rams have run through their scripts…we will separate the wheat from the chaff.

Nice CSNY reference...

Stafford or Flacco?  I take Stafford all day, not even close in my opinion.

Oh yeah, no competition.  Stafford got drafted by a train wreck franchise which is something that people ironically tend to ignore because he was always too classy to mope about it.  Put him somewhere functional for a 15 year career and he'd probably have 3 rings.

I like the Lions. I think the Lions win. But have to pull for the Rams. Don't want to see another franchise win their first Super Bowl before Buffalo does. I'm a hater.

I'd hate it, but I'd hate myself for hating it more. Feel like I'd be more angry at us than anything.

So I'd rather the Lions advance.

Ben Johnson is a very impressive play-caller.

You look at all these up-and-coming offensive coordinators and the majority of the time they have a stud at QB… Daboll (Allen), Hackett (Rodgers), Steichen (Hurts), etc etc etc.

Ben Johnson is doing this with JARED GOFF.

That was just way too easy.  The rout is on in Detroit!

A little early for that imo

The Rams have only had the ball once and moved it easily..

I'm expecting a high scoring game

You lost me at Hackett. Up and coming? Really?

Trading picks catching up to LA Donald basically on his own or does he actually have much help on that D-Line?

I just thought Donald had a down year. He’s a vet w a name. And media still puts him in
