Conlan58
I'm amazed at how many of you are seemingly just looking past the steelers like this team didn't struggle mightily in the regular season. Sure, if we dominated every team in that last 5 game stretch, I could see some "looking ahead". But they didn't... they had arguably 1 solid game out of the 5. They tend to let lesser teams hang around too long With that being said... SHOULD the Bills advance... man it would be sweet to send the swifties home crying for once. Utah John
The Bills D is much better than the Dolphins D, particularly with all the injuries the Dolphins have had. And Miami shut down the Chiefs in the red zone and made life generally difficult for the Chiefs. You'll recall the Bills beat the Chiefs in KC a few weeks ago. Now maybe the extra days Reid has to scheme up Bills beating strategies will be important, but the Bills coaches are no dummies either. So far this is shaping up just fine. The Texans will go to Baltimore and have a decent chance of winning. I'd rather face Houston in Buffalo, than the Ravens in Baltimore. 7 minutes ago, Conlan58 said: I'm amazed at how many of you are seemingly just looking past the steelers like this team didn't struggle mightily in the regular season. Could be, that they had an extra week off to prepare but to me it looks like he is mentally ready to make a playoff run. Josh is going to need to play some clean Football starting Monday. We really can’t afford to be taking points off the board.

billsfanmd07
Our offense could be almost as bad as KC has been. KC moved the ball up and down the field on depleted dolphins D in -20. We had nice weather and in the 4th last week we only had 7 points. I don't thing we would have gone 90 yards to tie. That punt return saved us. We need a breakout game against Pitt. Houston, Balt offenses are clicking and I would not feel confident yet. Stroud does not make boneheaded mistakes and he is in year 1. Our superstar QB is in year 6 and still can kill us...Luckily the 4th Q he usually brings us back.

And fwiw, I think Allen is the most talented QB in the league, and (if) he gets a Super Bowl, will be recognized as such. Both teams have top defenses, the difference to me is that the Bills have more explosiveness in Diggs, Kincaid, Shakir and Cook than the Chiefs do in Kelce, Rice, MVS and Pacheco. And that’s assuming Davis misses next week, should we get there.

It's not like the Bills offense has been clicking on all cylinders. In fact, the offense has played pretty poorly since the Cowboy game. Spags seems to do well vs Buffalo. He will bring timely pressure and the Bills have struggled with that often; including during the winning streak. Offense was clicking against Miami if you take away the redzone turnovers. Buffaloflash
11 hours ago, Richard Noggin said: The Bills offense's ability to operate against KC's tight man coverage and various pressure looks is so essential. If the Bills can avoid early offensive struggles, they can control this contest. Of course, defensively stopping the Pacheco and Edwards-Helaire combo and keeping eyes AND HANDS on Kelce is important, but I believe Josh and Co. have a chance to outpace an inconsistent Chiefs offense and alter the calculus of this matchup. Rice could be a handful.

BigDingus
At this point, I think it's a confidence/mental thing. The Bills have the template. Hell, they might've created it. They're 3-1 in their last 4 match ups, all in Arrowhead, with the only blowout being in favor of the Bills. So they know they CAN beat the Chiefs. But is the moment too big? Is the anticipation & pressure too much? Now you've got another opportunity, with the entire season building towards this moment. Will it be too much for the Bills? Will it be too much for Allen? At home, in front of tens of thousands of screaming Bills fans placing their hopes & decades of emotional baggage on you, can they overcome the 2 x champs or shrink in the moment? Or will you be caught looking ahead & lose to the Steelers before even getting the chance? Tune in tomorrow & find out!

Thrivefourfive
I’m really not worried about the Chiefs. I think the Bills have their number and will add another one next round. Gang Tackle crazy Pacheco (for the short time he’s in the NFL) Now game plan for Rice Don't allow lapses in containing Mahomes behind the line of scrimmage as a run threat The Chiefs grab like crazy on Defense, so please don’t it sucked into complaining to the refs. Beat them up and accept the penalties.

I don't like them having two extra days of recovery and two more days of Coach Reid game planning. We are the better team, but until they're knocked out, they are the Champs. For me, the two biggest factors: 1. 1 turnover or less 2. Control the Clock I like your ideas but add two more and I think with the best 12th man in football we can advance, providing we dispatch Pitt. We must have a competent spy on Mahomes. He’s running more lately and wrecking games. Finally, our tackling, which has been better during the win streak, must be physically imposing. Their backs have been running hard and controlling games especially in cold weather conditions. Miami was so poor tackling that it looked like they wanted to get back to the Hotel early. Mikie2times
We are so similar to KC this year. We both enter as dominate offenses with elite QB's. Both offenses struggled and both QB's played a little more inconsistent than they probably would like. WR's struggled to get open. Both teams leaned more on the run game. Defenses for both are playing well. Again, for both it seems like first to 21 wins. The question in my mind is who has gotten better since our last dead heat match up? I don't think we will be able to take advantage of Cook in the passing game like last time. Rice is becoming more consistent for them. Mahomes is with Brady and Montana as far as the NFL's best playoff performers. Throw the regular season game out. I don't know how this is anything but a dead heat. I have been hard on McD's playoff performance stating that we need to win an AFC championship to really change my feelings. But if we do get a shot at KC and we win, I would say this year would meet the definition of "success". I would think a win here would be considered the best of the Allen / McD era. Go Bills!
