Yes this one will probably be perfectly fine. but it's the overall concept of coordinators and what not looking to interview or work on their resume right now during the Playoffs when it's the most critical part of the season. Part of the consequences of being a successful franchise, other teams want your personnel. Would you rather us suck and not have anyone looking to hawk our guys? Pegs must of got the cheque book out. I am not totally sold on TG as a GM. He seems a nervous and uncomfortable communicator a bit in the Whaley mode. The interim GM is the guy Davis initially wanted to hire but second guessed himself. I didn't know that until someone recently explained why the Raiders couldn't just sign Pierce to a new contract until they interview a minority candidate from outside the organization. Updated Rooney Rule: Clubs must conduct an in-person interview with at least one external minority candidate for any GM or head coaching interview. Clubs must continue to consider multiple diverse candidates. Clubs must maintain complete records and provide them to the league upon the Commissioner's request. It puts hiring teams waaay behind the 8 ball for free agency and to a lesser extent for the draft too.
