Stroud’s stats were better than Lamar’s and he took the Texans from the second worst record in the league to the playoffs, without a lot of great offensive playmakers around him. Nice try to veer things into than angle...lol. Wins are in part (this is an important part here) due to player(s) excelling at their roles on the field. So, if a team has the most wins, that team is likely to be favored to host an array of end of season titles. A less discussed aspect of the MVP award is the value the play has on the team (who would they be without said player). Honestly, that aspect is often overlooked.
