Fire McDermott - 12 On the Field INEXCUSABLE

WEATHER DOT COM

There aren't going to be any Bills fans left if they keep overmatched McDermott and his band of fools.  We'll be begging Bon Jovi to take this garbage to Toronto so we can be free of this hell on earth if we have to bash our heads into this wall any longer.  They must be fired by lunchtime.

Sean McDermott needs to pack his bags and not just leave the Buffalo area, but he needs to clear out of the state of New York. This is inexcusable.

One of the worst brain dead coaches that I’ve ever had the displeasure of watching - just inventing ways to lose football games.

He needs to be GONE, like yesterday. We will never, ever win a Super Bowl with this bumbling, stumbling moron.

These are facts.

I have a stupid question here - but isn’t it the job of the special teams coach to make sure his players are out there? I’m not defending anyone. Just want clarification. I’m done with this coaching staff I think. And I’ve been as positive as I can be.

This was big enough for, at the very least, special teams coach needs to be fired tomorrow. If no drastic changes are made, it is obvious this team is playing for TV/league revenue and not on the field success. We are the NFL Montreal Expos!

It doesn't matter.

This is an opportunity to flush him out the door.

Dorsey is gone anyways, so it's time.

Pegula stammering and letting out a fart right about now trying to decide what to do…

… as far as which yacht to take down to Cabo San Lucas next week.  The tough decisions, you know.

And that 2nd all out blitz on 3rd and long out of field goal range is indefensible

Maybe. But Taron Johnson screwed up. How do you get beaten long in man coverage when the other team is on the edge of field goal range & will likely looking to throw long

Ok; I get that. But if what I said is true, it's not McD that screwed up.

McD not screwing up would have been McD called a TO when he saw 12 men on defense before the FG. But he couldn't call a TO because he didn't have any TO's because he screwed up

He’s saying that it was the head coach that screwed up. Multiple people screwed up here, but it was 1 single person who is responsible everyone is doing the correct thing. And that person is McD. So, it was McD screwing up that cost us the game.

You do understand that the responsibility for the field goal team is likely on the special teams coach?

It is likely that the late DB injurie messup up the field goal team D.

The D played well enough to win tonight. Who coaches the D?

yeah, you're right.  That FG really surprised them,  never saw it coming.  They had to scramble to get the block a FG play in.

You do understand that fron the sideline it is difficult (if not impossible) to count all your down linemen. At the very least someone upstairs should have alerted McD to the 12 men.

This isn't a hard decision.  Fire McDermott immediately along with Dorsey. Finish out the season and pray Ben Johnson wants the job.  It's Terry's only hope. Keep Beane one more year but make it clear he's on thin ice.

Week after week, year after year we show up flat, unprepared, unfocused.  Only McDermott and Dorsey can pull a rabbit out of a hat and turn Josh Allen into a loser.

I do not trust this process.  I hate this process.  It must end today.  McDermott has had dozens of chances, and yet we look on in bemused horror as it happens time and time again.  Perhaps fireable offense #274 will be the actual straw that broke the camel's back.

What part of “Head” don’t you understand? He’s responsible for all facets of the game. Otherwise there wouldn’t be a Head Coach, they’d just be OC, DC, and ST coordinator.

It wouldn't have mattered. He had no TO's left. He used them even though they had no chance of getting the ball back

My god STOP making excuses for this blunder. It doesn't happen to ANY team in the NFL EVER - especially one that should be as knit up as the Bills. "It's hard to count to 12" what????!! They blew it, and it starts and ends with McD. This team is not mentally prepared for ANY situation.

Add this into his inprobable list of blown close games.

It's comical at this point.  He should show some honor and resign

Are you kidding me? He’ll just blame the turnovers. It’s never his fault. Look at the playoff game in Houston, the 13 seconds, hail Murray, New England game

Ok, ok. Let’s suppose the 12th man was recognized and he got off the field. Did the Bills really play good enough to win this game against the 3-5 Broncos?

The FG team is determined pre-game. You send the FG team out. Who thinks to count your men? That's why I think the late injury messed up the FG team.

Listen I’m kinda with you. But regardless it’s fair to say this isn’t the first time that SOMETHING goes wrong and we lose the game in painful fashion. It’s becoming a trend. That starts at the top. It’s getting more obvious as the years go on but same end result - finding ridiculous ways to lose. Yeh, maybe it technically wasn’t McD’s responsibility on that specific play. However, the stench from the rotting fish head has seeped its way across the entire team and mistakes keep happening. And that ultimately falls on McD.

And, despite it being completely obvious to anyone with 3 functioning brain cells rubbing together, they won't be fired.  Billionaire owner far too busy being grifted by slick-talking hucksters who are scamming him out of untold millions.  Exactly what you'd expect from the worst franchise in American professional sports history and the laughingstock butt of every joke.

It is the fault of the special teams coach. Denver executed to get on the field properly, we didn't. probably didn't even practice it. Oh I thought you were counting. The guys that are normally on the field for FG kicks should have been on the field like they normally do. It's that simple. Whoever is not normally on the field for the FG, then there's the problem. Did it go through his F'n head.."why am I out here? I'm never out here for this".
