Greg S
Right now going into the season I would say CB. Losing Tre hurts and when he finally comes back then how long will it take for him to be playing at the level he is capable of. Might not be until the 2nd half of the season at the earliest. LabattBlue
OL both starters and depth. For a team that has their franchise QB for the next 10 years or more, McD and BB don’t seem to have a lot of interest in “protecting” their investment. 5 1 3 3
Royale with Cheese
Our biggest weakness is the QB talent in the AFC. We are a complete team without a glaring need. People like Mahomes, Burrow, Herbert etc....can just go off and be unstoppable regardless of what defense is on the field. That's what scares me...but Allen scares other teams too. Every single top 5 defense last year in scoring all had games in which they couldn't stop anything. 1
Bob in Mich
If we give Josh time in the pocket and keep him upright, we have an excellent chance of winning that game. So, my biggest concern is the ability of the offensive line to hold up and weather an injury or two. 2

Jauronimo
Leselie Frazier. Its great that we blow out chumps and hang shutouts on marginal QBs but I don't trust this defense to get stops or make big plays against good offenses in critical situations. 7 3

Daboll is a good OC, when things are going well, but does have his failings, ie; being pass centric to the point of his own teams detriment, he never seemed to understand / incorporate a functioning counter attack via the run game, when his pass game stuttered, he relied on to many cutie play calls or fell into the run, run, run, punt kinda stuff, I’m thinking that Dorsey will be smarter about that sort of thing, and in this case more successful. As to what the culprit for failure could be this upcoming season, so many things could cause it, from a couple bad Ref calls, to an in opportune fumble or interception, injury, or a bad coaching call, its hard to know a head of time. But don’t worry so much about it, we are going to win the last game of the season, so we’re cool that way.
frostbitmic
CB - If Tre' is ready to go to start the season we'll be fine. If he's not we'll be starting Jackson who's young and improved from year 1 to year 2, hopefully he takes another step in year 3. We'll likely also start Elam, who I think will be really good, but rookies will make rookie mistakes, and we'll have Taron Johnson in the slot who is very good. We also have the benefit of a very good pair of starters at Safety. Again it all depends on Tre'.

We were #15 overall in rushing defense and 16th in ypc....right in the middle of the pack but I think we improved with our offseason additions. Our run defense looked worse than it was just because a few games, we got gashed but overall in the 17 game season...were statistically average. Ethan in Cleveland
Post-draft I would say the biggest weakness is the O-line. There is plenty of optimism but also a fair amount of question marks on the OL. I think the run blocking will be ok but I'm still worried about the pass blocking with the group we have. Dorsey is an unknown but I am not too worried. I hope we get rid of Gilliam and play more two TE sets with Dorsey calling the plays. 2 minutes ago, Fan in San Diego said: Who did they bring in to address this? BillsVet
Comes down to the HC who, both on and off-field, leads the organization. 2022 will be a confirmation or rejection of his vision for a championship football team. As in, is the emphasis this off-season and previously on defense going to provide the margin to win against better AFC offenses in KC and CIN both regular and hopefully post-season? Is the likely emphasis on running the ball and taking it out of Josh's hands a net gain or loss for the offense? Are his choices for offensive assistants up to the task? Can he flex up his defense to confuse opponents, or run the same coverage schemes he has for a few years now?

H2o
In all seriousness, there are two that are in a dead heat. The OL until proven otherwise and the Secondary. I hope Saffold is over the injuries and has a great year for us. Dawkins seemed to have a rough go last year as well after his bout with Covid. I liked what I saw from Bates in limited action, but I hope he builds off of that. Hopefully Kromer has these guys whipped into shape and playing some good football this year. I know there are varying opinions of Levi Wallace, but I was never a big fan. He was decent, but was usually the guy that gave up the big plays or key first downs in his time here. He was the one who got roasted on the slant by Hill for the 65 yard TD. All you saw was Levi diving face first while swiping at his feet and being left in the dust. To me, that summed up his time here. If Tre is not pre-injury Tre then we could be in some trouble. Elam is a rookie, Jackson was decent but not great, and after them two it's a bunch of J.A.G.'s on the outside.

On top of that, they left Mckenzie out that game and drew up zero motion or jet sweeps. That was an asinine game plan.

Logic
Offensive line. They’re banking on Kromer improving the unit overall, Brown improving as a pass blocker, Bates being as good at RG as he was at LG, and everyone staying healthy. If any of those things — or more than one of those things — don’t happen, the offense is in trouble. What can they do about it at this point in the offseason? Sign a couple viable guards for depth. I’d love it if they brought back Daryl Williams and brought in Ereck Flowers.

Also, speaking for myself, I do have confidence in Kromer's abilities, but I'm not exactly "banking" on it. I do think at the very least the OL will continue from where they left off those last games. Anyway, for that reason I went with stopping the run as "biggest weakness"...at least for now until we see otherwise how newly added players on DL perform
