Bengals getting revenge for us

This is true. KC and Buffalo are the 2 best teams in the league. And they will be for awhile. Kinda makes these remaining games anticlimactic.

Don't count LA out. They have an explosive offense and game changers on the defense. They can definitely beat the Chiefs. Same goes for the Bills if they would have made it.

I agree that the Rams can beat KC.  They are susceptible to imploding, but if they don't... that defense has game wreckers up front that we just don't have, and on offense, they are basically us without the QB mobility.

I still believe the winner of Bills/Chiefs wins the Super Bowl, and it will be sickening to look back and remember that it was decided by a coin toss, but the Rams do have a shot.

Stafford is not beating Mahomes,  Kelce & Hill. I don't care how well Donald plays. For all intents and purposes the NFL season ended Sunday night.

Everyone is acting like this will be a layup for the Chiefs, but you never know. Cincy is red hot right now, anything can happen.

Anything can happen, but those red hot Bengals have scored 3 TDs in the postseason.  Kansas City has scored 11.

I think the amazing Bengals receivers can feast on the Chiefs secondary if given the opportunity. However their O-Line looks pathetic. It's likely they play a little better just out of embarrassment. I would take the Chiefs and the points, but the odds of the Bengals winning are not zero. If they do manage to pull an amazing upset (Forecaster 583 gives Bengals a 23% shot), it would make the Bills collapse look that much worse.

If it wasn't for Tannehill and his 3 picks the Bengals wouldn't be here right now. Credit to the Bengals D for getting those picks but they really didn't play well at TEN. Burrow getting sacked 9 times, the Titans had 140 yards rushing, and Brown had a big day receiving. They found a way to win but I wouldn't call them red hot.

KC will destroy the Bengals, just as we would have.   SB was already played last Sunday.

Bengals beat KC 34-31 in Week 17 when I promise you, KC had the #1 seed in their sights and was really trying.

Some features of that game:

-Bengals got down 14-0 at the beginning of the game which may have influenced their play calling.  Second-worst rush yards of the season, 60.

-They kind of didn't try to hard to run, 19 rush plays to 40 pass plays.

-Williams was able to run on the Bengals, Mixon was not (or not given much chance) to run on the Chiefs

-The Bengals did a decent job containing Mahomes, 259 passing yards

-Burrow threw all over the field against the Chiefs.  And when I say all over, I mean All Over.  You hear me?  ALL over. (see chart below)

-Very very even game overall, Bengals had 61 more offensive yards, Chiefs about 2 minutes more TOP, Same # of first downs.

I'm not sure we would have destroyed the Bengals, and I'm not sure the Chiefs will.    I think the Bengals players deserve to be pissed off and fired up at hearing things like "SB was already played last Sunday"

Burrow has been taking a beating, and that's got to mount up.

I don’t like Joe Burrow. Guy seems like a cocky do&@he. I want the Rams to win SB at this point.

What does he do that makes him seem like a cocky douche?  He was pretty humble in his Heisman speech.

Someone said the line between cocky and confident is a thin, and separated by the work.

Given he already had to go through a rehab process, he's surely put in the work

I sometimes think our QB aka "Big Goofy" to his teammates, doesn't have enough of that killer edge to push his teammates to be better.

I keep seeing these kinda posts come up on Twitter. I find it kind of weird as the Bengals and their fan base really have no connection to us outside the Dalton thing. However, if it gives them any extra motivation to beat the cheifs, then go Bengals

Chiefs are going to crush them. I sincerely hope not but…..

Bengals fans love Bills fans (I think it’s because of the donations to Dalton) and the ones who wanted to play us next week wanted to do so just so they’d have an AFC team to root for in the Super Bowl. Like Bills fans they despise the Chiefs and their following. I don’t have a problem rooting for Bengals this Sunday, I hope the Chiefs are emotionally and physically spent.

Exactly...they beat them in Cincy, I don't see it happening again. KC by 2 scores minimum.

Interesting thing is Chase is every bit as big of a gamebreaker as Hill is...isn't that he game he put up ridiculous yardage totals against them and took a short cross like 75 yards to the house in between like 5 Chief defenders?  Kinda like Hill just did to us?

As much as I'd like to see the Chiefs lose, that would cheapen our loss to them. I'd almost rather see the Chiefs roll through everyone, making the Bills the only team that had them on the mat.

The Bengals were critical in us getting Allen in the draft, giving us their #12 pick for Cordy Glenn, who isn't even playing football anymore.

I'll be rooting for the Bengals cuz they're the under dog and I'm tired of kc being in the super bowl, but I just can't see them upsetting the cheifs. I see this game something like 42-20. As stated though, anything can happen. Bottles and the jags had the Patriots on their heels a few years back in the championship game, so who knows.

I'm not sure I understand this sentiment.  The Bengals beat them in a shootout just a few weeks ago.

We really underplay how good the Bengals are here. They had just as good a season as us, and Burrow is one of the top QB's now.  Their D is a bit better than ours, also.

He’s kind of a tom Brady clone on his personality. He’s very confident in himself and extremely competitive and that will rub some people the wrong way, but he’s not a jerk like Rodgers and backs it up unlike mayfield.

The more I think about things I'm not sure that's going to be the case.

Tenn was a good team and sacked Burrow 9 times and still lost. That's not going to happen again this week against the Chiefs (Burrow taking that many sacks).

And as great as Davis was against the Chiefs, Chase might be the best WR in the league after Hill which says a lot for a rookie. They are going to have to double and triple cover him which opens up all the other weapons the Bengals have similar to why Davis had a monster game.

The biggest factor though is where the Chiefs are emotionally and mentally after playing what might have been their SB against the Bills. If they struggle early and the Bengals can jump up on them by 14 points or more I wouldn't be surprised if the Bengals are SB bound.

But Mahomes isnt throwing 3 HORRIBLE picks like Tannehill either. The Titan's subpar QBing is what did them in. That isnt happening Sunday.

Not that I'll know, cause I aint watching any of this garbage until next season.

Burrow has a really sarcastic sense of humor, and some of that boasting that rubs people the wrong way is done tongue in cheek.

I kinda want Chiefs to win so the Rams can blow them up in the Superbowl.  I've always been a Stafford fan and I would love for Darnold and Miller to get after Mahomes.  I know he's a great QB but he bugs me.  LOL

If that scenario plays out and Mahomes is dominated in the SB again by an opposing teams pass rush you really have to wonder what it's going to take for Beane to finally understand you have to make a true power move (like the Rams did for Miller) instead of relying on draft picks.

I mentioned something similar in another thread, but why hold onto the #25 overall pick to draft a guy that probably won't help right away especially if it's another DT or DE. Use that in a package to get a proven veteran who can have an impact from day one.

Moral of the story, it's time for Beane to find his Diggs of the defense and not overvalue draft picks especially considering how bad most of them have been on the defensive side of the ball anyway during his time here.

I keep seeing people think that the game won't be close.

We're not the same ol' Bills - and the Bengals aren't the same ol' Bengals. That team is legit, and Burrow is as good as anyone not named Allen or Mahomes.

I mean, they JUST beat the Chiefs, in early January.

I'd pick KC, but I could easily see a shootout/who has the ball last kind of game, like ours.

Disagree. Josh showed the entire football world how great he is. I think if anything it will McDermott getting criticized and being called out as not being as good a HC as Reid and Taylor.

You must watch more logical commentators than I do.

My order of who I want to win goes like this:

49ers - Man it would really piss Brady off that his former replacement is now on his favorite childhood team and won. Maybe he’d retire? Idk. Nobody on the team I hate, so there we go.

Bengals - Cinci is another downtrodden franchise that may have finally found some answers. Burrow has had some of the most incredible football over the past 3 years, and Chase is an absolute monster. They helped us break the playoff drought, but you don’t really want to build up another monster team too much - they may have to be taken down next year. That being said, go for it.

Rams - McVay may finally have mortgaged enough of their future to build a winner. Stafford winning one would honestly be really cool after suffering in Detroit for so long. That being said Jalen Ramsey would get a ring, and that’s just a shame. Still, good on them. They have some amazing players and they would pose a tough out for any team.

KC - look, I don’t hate Mahomes. He plays with a chip on his shoulder like Josh does, and he’s definitely talented. Kelce is one of the best TE’s ever. Tyreek helped me win 2 fantasy leagues this year so that’s lovely, even if he’s a garbage person.

…but after Andy Reid’s kid last year, the games we have played against them, Mahomes insufferable baby mama, and his absolute doofus brother, not to mention the chiefs fans who (while not all of them) say some tremendously awful things online… screw em. I hope they get humiliated and just fall flat.

Depends how their line holds up…. KC secondary is going to get torched again by those Bengals wide outs if they give Burrow time. Wouldn’t be surprised by another back and forth game, but man, that Cincy line is bad.

So you’re saying the Chiefs are on “Burrowed Time”?
