I was really high on Dane in the offseason but then he didnt supplant Wallace

Hope your right

Wallace has been playing great this year, though.

Dane has fallen for every double move he’s ever seen.  Somehow he bit AGAIN on Thursday night.  I’ve never seen a corner fall for the fake so many times without adapting.

Agreed. The double move is his kryptonite.

What Dane does really well is have very good cover skills (turns his head around, plays the ball); and he seems like a great tackler and is excellent in run support.

What Dane seems to struggle with is biting on double moves and not having great closing foot speed.

Just don't get beat deep. That's all he needs to do.

The SuperBowl is solely dependent on Allen.

And the coaching staff followed by the OL.  Allen has zero chance no matter, how good he is, if the coaching staff coaches like they did in the AFCCG

Dane will be fine, he's not Tre but few are.

I've seen Dane play high school, where he was an excellent dual threat QB (recruited by some schools at that position) and then go on to play at Pitt.  He's a team first, great kid.  Polite, quiet and hard working.

Thought he was going to beat out Levi for the #2 spot this offseason, but anyone saying we don't have depth is crazy.  He will step in and do solid for us.

A star is about to be born.  Dane Jackson will be a stand out CB for the Buffalo Bills all the way to the SB.

let’s goooooooooooooooo!

If so he would have outplayed Wallace.  Hopefully he can turn out to be as good as Wallace.  Even Wallace was missed two seasons ago in the playoffs against Houston

All that matters is can whatever combination of corners along with Hyde and Poyer keep opposing teams passing attack in check. Nobody needs to be an island we need quality and consistency. Nobody is filling Mr. Whites shoes... they've got sweat coming out of them.

Pass rush needs to start getting home - they have invested a ton of capital in the DEs the last two years and not much consistency to show for it.  A high “pressure rate” doesn’t translate into lost yardage and change in field position.

May be it is the scheme
