Bills:

11-6 do not sweep division. Clinch division, playoff spot last week of season.

This one specifically is vastly more likely then I think a lot of people want to admit. It is very very difficult to sweep the division, even Brady with the Pats would lose one to Miami or NYJ. I actually have the game at NE as a loss (even with me thinking they go 14-3) and I think it is very fathomable that the NE is a game back last week which requires us to win to clinch division. Also the new schedule will keep more teams in wayyy longer then before. I have ran simulations and unless a team is at 12 wins plus by week 17, it will make teams artificially closer.

NFL:

Justin Herbert is just ok with a few really bad games sprinkled in.  Chargers are under .500

Justin Fields has a great 2nd half

Jets sweep the fish

Teddy Bridgewater has a solid year and Broncos contend for playoff spot

Bills:

Dawson Knox looks great but gets injured around week 5

RB by committee works fine

Jaquan Johnson starts to emerge somehow

International exchange program backfires as Obada and Wade get in Spencer Brown’s ear.  He moves to the Sherwood Forest and joins an archery league.

Yea. I see Bengals winning 7-8 games. Winning the division or a wild card? Can’t see it…. That division is too good… they’ll be lucky to get 3 wins in division, IMO.

The Bengals hopes for a decent season hinge on Burrow’s mental and physical health.  That team is just too poorly run and their OL is not good so I just don’t see it going well.  I think 7-8 wins is their absolute ceiling, but I don’t think Burrow is going to last the whole season.  The wheels will come off when he gets hurt again.  The Bungles are ruining a(nother) really good QB.

-The Bills will lead the AFC in total sacks;

While I don’t think this will happen, I was surprised to see that the Bills were tied for 15th in team sacks last season.  That’s pretty good for a team that didn’t have a single dominant sack threat or any player with more than 5 sacks.

NFL

1. Chargers are in AFC West race until the last week, but ultimately end up a WC team

2. Vic Fangio is the first HC fired

3. Seattle misses the playoffs for first time with Wilson, Carroll retires

4. Dallas wins 12 regular season games and represents NFC in the SB

5. Raiders win 5 games and Mayock is fired

Bills

1. Bills lose consecutive weeks against Chiefs and Tenn and this board explodes

2. Bills win 12 regular season games and beat Cleveland in Cleveland for AFC Championship

3. Edmunds is benched as MLB after Tenn loss

4. Morse is also benched after the Tenn loss

5. Hyde starts to show his age

6. Moss becomes the feature back and rushes for 850 yards

7. Bills have 52 sacks

8. JA, Bass, Diggs, White, and Dawkins earn ProBowl

9. Rousseau finishes 3rd in DROY voting with 7.5 sacks

10. Bills 31 Cowboys 27 in SB

I would rather the SB be Bills and Giants and have the Giants miss a last second field goal as the Bills leave the field SB Champs. That would be the ultimate payback for Buffalo.

Twelve wins is quite doable if 'D' improves.

Thought Bills had a charmed season last year, catching defenses unprepared with their sort of razzle dazzle passing offense.

I expect more tight games this year, with teams being better prepared for the Bills Circus offense. If they are not and Bills 'D' steps it up, even a notch, 11 wins in early Dec. is a real possibility.

Many will lament that Robert Foster is woefully underutilized.  I will not necessarily agree; only point it out for the benefit of the readership.

He's on the outside looking in right now but has made some plays down here in Miami.

Edmund's will lead the team with most interceptions.

An NFL.com writer made a "bold" prediction that the league leader in receptions during a 17 game season will be Justin Jefferson with 97?? Eight players had 100 or more last year. I would like to partake in whatever drugs Cynthia Frelund is on

I said the Jets and the Bills roster was close talent wise prior to the 2019 season(it was)and that I could see them being 2nd to the Pats in the division and winning 10 games…. This was before  Gase cemented himself as a gigantic turd of a HC.

Nah. Gase cemented himself as a garbage head coach the moment he put the headset on.

Allen sets insane records/numbers/advanced stats which of course get questioned because of the extra game.

at least one, possibly two, of our new super athlete rookie OL end up starting by the end of the season and dominate

bills O combine our big play ability with sustained drives (improving on our 20 first downs per year last season) and end up top of the NFL with TOP

Bills D comes together and plays a high speed efficient but most of all nasty brand of D that intimidates and batters the opposition

league wide:

there is only one NFL champion at the end of this season, and they play their home games in the empire state.

Brady's arm is toast by wk. 9

TB eeks out .500 wk 9 to 14

Somehow, by week 15, Brady's arm is ridiculous and TB peaks late once again

Cleveland becomes the dominant force in their division

NE gets 5 of their 9 wins scoring under 21 pts.

Bills:

The Bills (mid-late season) find lightning in a bottle with a historic devastating pass rush rotation

That pass rush proves to be the right formula to keep Mahomes off balance in the AFCC

The return of "Motor" - dark horse to have a McKissick/Nyheim Hines type season

Matt Breida has an 80+ yard play that wins us a game

Knox has career year

NFL: ravens get #1 seed in AFC

Bills: Boogie Basham is inactive to start the season. And it will be ok.

Think the Basham one is very likely. He looks like the 7th best defensive end on the team right now. They will keep him on the roster, likely ahead of Darryl Johnson, but I think finding a way onto the gameday active list is tricky for him right now.

I think he’s going to take the epenesa route. The Bills did not expect to take him in the draft, and I don’t know that he has an obvious spot right now. I say right now because I think he’s Hughes’ future replacement. Rousseau is what they hope is their big ticket pass rusher and basham is going to be cheap labor at the DE spot. I don’t think he is a bad player by any means, and he certainly could play some this year. I just think he was drafted with the future in mind. Rousseau on the other hand they will want to rotate in right away.

I think the long term route for him is to be that in-out hybrid they wanted Quinton Jefferson to be.
