It's def too early to talk about it, but if they are going to talk about it (and they are), he should be in that conversation with Russell Wilson and maybe a couple others.

Nope, consider the bleeding on your wounded avatar pic--that poor buffalo has been bleeding out for a minute and just got some Allen/Diggs stitches put in yesterday! He should pull through now. ;)

Side note:

Boy, if 2020 has shown us anything it is that New York City...really doesn't have a clue on much of anything (8/21).

https://nypost.com/2020/08/21/josh-allen-feels-destined-to-be-a-fantasy-football-bust-in-2020/

"Though, we also still aren’t thrilled with his receiving corps, despite adding Stefon Diggs this season. And we worry Allen is primed for a decline in rushing TDs. He had eight and nine in consecutive years. Even the best rushing QBs have trouble stringing together eight-TD seasons. Cam Newton, the best comparison for Allen, has done it just once – his first two years (14 and eight). He has topped eight rushing TDs just once since. Dak Prescott had six in three straight seasons before declining to three last year."

"...So without confidence Allen can post huge fantasy numbers with his arm, and with history telling us continued production on the ground at his current pace is a rarity, we do not want to spend a sixth- or seventh-round pick on Allen. Especially when other options like Matt Ryan, Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees, Tom Brady are still on the board."

they were correct about his rushing production decline. I think he only ran once for 13 yards yesterday...  I wonder if we should be worried 😂

It's never too early...

MVP of the Quarter: Trent Edwards, QB, Buffalo. "My MVP is tied for 12th in touchdown passes with four, 10th in passing yards with 930 and 10th in passer rating at 93.5. But the Bills are 4-0, and the difference is an efficient quarterback who, like all the great ones, plays better when the game's on the line than any other time of the game." Where NFL stands one quarter into the season - Peter King

Is there any doubt in your mind that he will leave money on the table in a team friendly deal?

He will still get a ton, but I seriously doubt that he will try to break the bank or reset the market.

Part of why I love him

Maybe this is why he’s still shying away from spending any print time on the Bills so far 🧐

‘Why wouldn’t be try and get as much money as possible? He’s not a guy who seems to want to reset the market like Dak, but he’s going to want what he deserves.

Good or bad, I keep my mouth shut for the first 4 games of every season.  By then stuff should shake out and we should have a good idea of what 90% of the NFL teams and players look like.  Some of the young/developmental players are most of that remaining 10%.

So I’ll wait 2 more games to give my opinion on Allen, but my hope is that he continues to look like he has so far this season. 🤞

I can definitely see him doing it he likes the team and area but more than anything he wants to kick some ass and is smart enough to know that this would help a lot.

Drink it in Bills fans. It's been a long, long time since the national media has gushed over a Bills QB.

as I said, they are eager to love buffalo. We just hadn’t proven it. Now that we aren’t combining rushing and passing yards to justify a good game they are going to race to put josh in front of cameras.

yup - still plenty of bridges to cross but so far it isn’t smoke and mirrors.

Will be telling to see some tough defenses, maybe seeing at least some road crowds later in the season etc...

I spotted this gem in your link: Kirk Cousins on Sunday was a Peterman-esque 11-for-26 passing for 113 yards and three interceptions.

I mean it’s a 1/8 of the season already!!! I believe Trent and Fitz were 4 game MVPs for us.

if Allen can put up half of yesterday’s numbers against the Rams, he will be seriously in the race.

If you look at the track record of MVPs going to whoever happens to be the QB of the team with the best record (*cough*Newton and his sub-60% completion and under 4000 yards passing*cough*), it's easy to see why he would go with Trent if he thought the Bills would continue winning.  The non QB MVPs are RBs who break important records.  No one wants to rock the voting boat amongst their peers, creating a vicious cycle.

But yeah, after NYJ and Miami, and before LAR and KC is the exact definition of "too early".
