Imagine being able to ruin everything you touch.

Such is life as a Jeep "idea guy."

Imagine Levi beginning a post with a word other than "imagine" ?

But seriously, I think their engineers are even worse. Those transmissions are horrendous. We blew through THREE transmissions on my wife's Liberty in 4 years before finally dumping it at the Toyota dealer and getting a 4Runner.

Just awful.  It's funny to watch Dodge put out awesome American muscle and Ram start to really get its ***** together while Chrysler and Jeep just ***** their pants over and over.

They need the boxy look.  Those rounded edges and stupid headlights ruin it.  I think they look terrible.

I had 2nd generation (XJ) Cherokee (boxy) and 2002 (TJ) Wrangler.  Loved them both.

I wouldn't buy anything new from Jeep, ever.

I had a 2001 Cherokee Sport (XJ) that was INCREDIBLE. Never had a single problem with it, and it could go anywhere. The last year Jeep made SUVs like that. They discontinued the Cherokee in 2002 and replaced it with garbage like the Liberty.

All downhill from there. Never again.

Yeah, the Liberty and Compass are pure crap.  And once they transitioned to the Grand Cherokee, those were instantly crap, too.  I'm not sure how the modern day Wranglers hold up, but for the price of them, I can confidently say that I'll never know first-hand.

i had a couple of grand cherokees i loved.  i'd get them new and bail on them at 6 years or so before the big problems happened.  for the money, you tended to get a lot.  my old jeep may have even had an option or two more than my current car does, and i spent a lot more on my current car.

they've been talking about this new model for years now.  at one point it was supposed to be competition for the range rover, and was thought to possibly go into the 6 figure range.  i'm not buying a jeep if i'm spending that kind of money.

Ditched my wife’s 2011 Grand Cherokee in early 2018 (I think) after the transfer case failed for the 3rd time. It had been replaced less than a year earlier. I did like the car until that point.

Fought with them for a couple months at both the local and corporate level and got nowhere. Had some fun when the dealership we bought it from cold called a few months later to see if we’d be interested in coming in for refreshments and to check out the inventory. They haven’t called back since....?

Doesn’t look too bad against the lighter color.

That green one is a trainwreck all around.

My wife liked the look of the Renegade when they first came out, but it didn’t take a ton of sniffing around to discover that they are trash. Hard pass.

Looks like Jeep is bringing back the Grand Wagoneer. Some great nostalgia there for sure, but I already swore I'd never buy anything made by Jeep ever again. Especially their SUVs, and especially at a $70k+ price tag

Brings back fond memories of the 1970s and "wood grain" being simulated on my dad's 1979 Malibu Classic Estate station wagon with a sticker...that peeled off in numberous places in short order.

That was right around the time the American car industry hit dead rock bottom--and they lost me as a customer for life!

Not gonna lie, I rushed in here to a massive double disappointment... No pic of your woody and that wagoneer looks like ****!

Have a 2014 Polar Sahara Wrangler but that might be getting traded for the new Bronco... Jeep is ****ing up as much as you did by not posting what I came in here for:cry:

Some neighbors years ago had a woodpecker who kept pecking holes in the siding to live in their attic. They named him and asked if we wanted to go upstairs and see Woody. We told this story to a friend who was with her college age daughter. She immediately turned to her daughter and said “If you are ever asked if you want to go upstairs and see Woody, the answer is NO!”

Learned to drive in a 77 Pontiac Bonneville Safari....in the early 90’s.  Thing was a beast, and also a fantastic  egg-raid mobile, ha!

Powder blue & panels!

Almost this exact car, ours was a shade lighter blue.

I have always been a Jeep guy, real jeeps, not the SUVs....

I was going to get the Gladiator last year until I saw the prices and went F-150 instead.

I had a 4-Door Wrangler a few vehicles ago and I loved it, they aren't the best for reliability as a DD, but they hold their value and breaking a part just means its time to go bigger and better.....

As for the ones pictured, I would go with the original but not one of the new ones thats just stealing the name

I didn't say you couldn't....I said you can't do it for anything...

I guess being able to hear inflection helps.

We had a Caprice wagon when I was a kid. It was dark blue with the wood panels. Great combo; great car. I'm a big believer in 3 row wagons.

My dad still had an early 90s Roadmaster wagon up until a few weeks ago when he sold it.

Waste of corporate energy in a company that should join the vehicle revolution.

Let's bring back the IBM 486 baby...

Is it still American muscle when the cars are assembled in Brampton, ON, most of the engines come from Mexico and the transmissions on the Hellcats come from Germany?
