Hes a young QB who balled in the second half “when given the chance” (because he was rarely put in good situations with our 1st down run obsession). That second half Allen gives me a ton of hope for the Playoffs. Especially in the first game against defenses nowhere near as good as the last 3 we’ve faced. Defense was uncharacteristically pathetic today. Hopefully they are reminded of it frequently between today and WC Weekend. Then come out angry. They didn’t bring any heat on the 40 something year old QB that no longer beats the blitz the way he used to. Very disappointed in that defensive effort today. The agreement that has always existed with this team is that offense will make enough plays, and the defense will make stops when needed. whether or not that’s how we should be playing- that’s our identity. The offense did its work, the defense allowed the patriots to bully them all game. Tough loss.
