They also have better ST. I see this as a 20-17 type of game but it's anybody's guess who wins. It will be nice to see the Bills on SNF again. davefan66 Posted December 9, 2019 Share Posted December 9, 2019 I had no feeling for yesterday’s game ahead of time. Had hope we’d make it a game, and we did. As for the Steelers, I am incredibly nervous and feel we have the potential to lose by a few TD’s. Josh has to be on his game and Brown needs to be reintroduced into then offense. Need to go deep and connect to open the field and get the short passing game and running game going. Stretching the field will also reduce the 7 man rush. Need to control the LOS, which will be very difficult against their defense. Win one and in. If we lose to the Steelers, have to win against the patsies or jets. Like our odds of getting the one win, but want to get in now and not the last game of the season. Its depends on if its white on white (throwbacks or current) or white over blue. I can see it now We have one huge advantage against the Steelers. They like to play zone and not so great with man to man. A couple of weeks ago we were discussing the long pass from Josh to Brown and whether it was a true deep ball. My point is that there are situations when Josh is going to need to loft the ball and drop it in to receivers which is why those throws are a different type and hitting a 35 yards down field with a frozen rope is not the same thing. Yesterday, the ravens played press man to man. The way to beat that coverage is over the top. Our receivers DID beat it consistently early in that game...and Josh could not hit them. I think that such coverage is going to continue to be trouble for Josh for a while. But that is not what the Steelers do (at least not historically...as I have not watched them much this year). Josh is a competitor...will come out angry and if he faces zone, he will be able to pick it apart with strong and accurate throws in between the seems.
