McEvoy verbally committed to the South Carolina Gamecocks on January 20, 2011 to play quarterback.[2] McEvoy redshirted his first year on campus.[1] On July 30, 2012, McEvoy was arrested in North Carolina and charged with speeding and driving after consuming alcohol while under age 21.[3] On August 7, eight days after his arrest, McEvoy announced that he was going to transfer from South Carolina.[4]

McEvoy transferred to Arizona Western prior to start of 2012 season. McEvoy appeared in 10 games during the 2012 season at the quarterback position passing for 2,301 yard with 29 touchdowns and rushing for six more.[1]

McEvoy transferred to the University of Wisconsin where he played from the 2013 season through the 2015 season.[5]

McEvoy played in 38 games splitting time between playing at safety, quarterback, and wide receiver.

I’m sure Seahawks fans felt the same way when they literally made over 100 player transactions in Pete Caroll’s first year.

Just kind of interesting that yesterday someone mentioned that we could use another George Wilson and then a guy pops in the door that has played both Safety and WR.

I guess he had a little success in Seattle at WR.

He's 6' 6" and might be a more enthusiastic version of Benjamin.

Ha, yeah, but they're not that meaningless (or at least I kinda love these moves). There's a definite pattern. Mike Love, Dean Marlowe, and Keith Ford are all intriguing under-the-radar players who showed flashes in camp and pre-season. We've already possibly struck gold with Foster and Wallace. I'd love to see if any of these players could provide depth. As Yolo pointed out, Ford was a major recruit at one point, and if he shows similar progression as Foster, maybe he can be part of our post-Shady running plans (whenever that turns out to be).

Does he have similar physical measurables as Terrelle Pryor?

Hopefully more mentally stable,

He's taller, not as fast.  His arms are not real long considering his height.  Still, a fascinating player when you think about his versatility.  If he can actually develop his skill set in one area where he could be productive enough to hold a roster spot, his versatility could allow a team to be pretty creative.  If his main position is receiver, Daboll could motion him to the backfield and let him take a snap and either hand the ball off or attempt a pass, or run the ball for that matter.  He has a pretty fair number of carries from college.  As a 6'6" safety, he had a nose for interceptions.

Ha ha, between him and Edmunds we could call our defense the Himalaya's or something, it would be tough to throw it in the middle over those two mountains
