The Bills Blog
Darnold's ball is eminently more catchable than Allen's. It's a beautiful ball. Darnold is clearly the superior passer. However, I'm not sure how to weigh Allen's running into the equation.
xsoldier54
Saw that one coming. Offense was too inconsistent all second half and Jets were moving the ball easily. It was only a matter of time. 1 minute ago, Joe in Winslow said: This place is going to be a den of misery this week, methinks. Why we're 4-9? Wasn't like it was gonna make any difference if we won. Last two weeks were both winnable games, but we are just not good enough. Edited December 9, 2018 by xsoldier54

SCBills
Allen, Foster, McKenzie and Ivory - Thats all we have on Offense. Left side of the line is ok, but is sabotaged by dumpster fire Groy being forced into action at Center. Jets Offense is also weak but stepped up today for their rookie, kept pressure at bay and didn’t drop every other pass.
RalphWilson'sNewWar
The Blueprint is out...it’s been out. Force Allen to be a Quarterback and throw from the Pocket. He’s league worst for throwing on 3rd down and picking up the first down. He needs to STOP RUNNING. And work on his craft. 4

Magox
Plenty of positives to build on. With that said the offensive line is terrible. Special teams is terrible. And the red zone defense over the past two weeks has been terrible. 1

Allen should be working on those plays and throwing and learning

He simply avoids the type of the plays that QBs need to learn how to make at the highest level. CSBill
On the bright side: We had a 100-yard rusher again We also had a 100-yard receiver, is that a 1st for the season? Our draft position improved A lot of young guys getting valuable playing time Sets up the Patriots, they'll be taking us lightly ? Finally, our ST coach has sealed his fate

GETTOTHE50
Keeping McDermott on a short and tight leash after this debacle. The defensive scheme did not make sense. It was a total team loss. Players were dropping balls, and the o-line was miserable all game. I only blame Allen for 3 of the points, and he help put up much more than that. Defense was baddddd. Tredavious was bad. Tremaine, asides from the INT, was bad. Defensive line was bad. ST - we all know this was bad. Jets beat the Bills fair and square. No one to blame but our teams poor preparation and play.
HappyDays
Personally I thought Allen and Darnold played pretty evenly today but Darnold's offense is better which led to a close win. I don't think the Jets had a single drop today. We had at least 5. They'll both be around for a long time IMO.
