Got some source on the inside ..... Possibly Jimmy G to Buffalo and Kirk Cousins to San Fran. Not %100 but Jimmy G was in Buffalo today with Beane. Possible news Kirk was in San Fran

And not one cellphone was able to capture this little tete a tete??

Beane would be a legend if he pulled this off.

But I just don't see San Fran letting Jimmy G go. I would be absolutely shocked if this actually happened. Someone would have to revive me... it sure is a nice dream but again, I just don't see it. I'd sure love to be wrong.

How amazing would would it be to torture the Pats with Jimmy G for the next decade plus though?!!

edit - please change the thread title to more accurately reflect that this is only a rumor on Facebook.

Please make it stop. If you don't have a legit reference... Why?  Does your life really suck that bad? FFS.

I don’t think you get it. Shanahan’s QB of choice is Cousins. Giving up Jimmy G to get him is not out of the realm. He truly believes Cousins is his perfect QB. Plus Cousins wants to play in SF

and play for Shanahan. It’s does not matter if we think this is not a good trade or you would never do it. It’s what Shanahan believes is right for him.

The only way this can work is you need a 3rd team to make it happen who is willing to give up a 1st round pick or maybe both 1st round picks. The Bills are the obvious choice in this senairio.

There is a report on Facebook that there is a strong rumor that the Bills, 49ers and Redskins will pull off a 3 team trade. With 49ers ending up with Kurt Cousins. Bills getting Jimmy G and The Redskins getting Bills 1st round pick and a player.

This is supposedly posted by someone in the know.

Take it for what it’s worth.

Are Kirk and Kurt cousins?

Your thinking is about one year out of date.   Your OP is pure fantasy.

It's not absurd that Cousins ends up in SF, and then Garropolo ends up somewhere else, but it won't be a 3 team trade.  If somebody offers SF a bunch of picks for Garoppolo and Shanahan likes Cousins just as much and can get him for nothing, then it's possible they deal Garoppolo. Redskins won't be getting anything.

At one time it wasn't. These days it is as they have their franchise QB.

Ok. Where are the Pegula plane tracking experts?

A plane the Bills use sometimes (used it to pick up Wood for his PC) went to Chicago yesterday and came back today. Jimmy G is from a suburb of Chicago. Not confirming nothing just posting some info.

Former NFL quarterback David Carr takes a look at quarterbacks whose stock went up or down heading into the 2018 offseason. How do Deshaun Watson, Dak Prescott and Andrew Luck fare?

Stock up

Jimmy Garoppolo, San Francisco 49ers: The 49ers got their quarterback, and he looked like a guy who had sat behind the greatest quarterback of all time for a few years. Garoppolo's skill set is great for Kyle Shanahan's offense, and we witnessed just the start of what will be something great in San Francisco. What Garoppolo showed with not a ton of talent to work with was telling in his five starts. The way Garoppolo is taking ownership of his new team, the 49ers might contend for the division.

My sister-in-law's from a suburb of Chicago.  Now, she'd make a truly awful quarterback...but this team has a track record of signing truly awful quarterbacks.

Your sister-in-law's passer rating is still higher than Nate Peterman's....

I am impressed with any thread that has a Herve Villechaize reference or picture..

Holy crap if that came true Bills would be luckier than 2x winners of a 400 million+ lottery.

I suggested the idea of a trade of the Bills two first rounders to SF for Jimmy G a couple weeks ago..........with Cousins going to SF as a FA..........but Washington gets NUTHIN!

They have no leverage.   They can't franchise Cousins for $35M.  That threat is hollow as !@#$.  Washington getting a first round pick in the deal would be an epic heist.

That's why it doesn't make sense.

So here is how it could work in a 3 team trade

Bills get Jimmy G

redskins franchise Cousins who really wants go to the 49res and play in that city and play for Shanahan. they both have publicly said they want this. Shanahan’s number 1 QB of choice is

cousins. Cousins has stated that Shanahan was the best offense coach he’s ever played for.

Redskins would  get one of the Bills 1st round picks and a player.

This really is a win win win for each team.

I can see it hapoening

sure on surface there is a way.

Niners could agree to pay Cousins the 34 million next year as the franchise tag states and also give him an extension right now for 2019 and beyond at market rate at whatever it is 25 to 30 million. That promise to ride the 34 million for next year could be incentive for Cousins to agree as he otherwise could tell Skins to pound sand and just force his way out to be a free free agent and get the market rate. Which may or may not be less than the 34 mill. No one knows that though.
