If you like true crime stories, talked about by the agents that were involved, but you don't have a lot of time, check out FBI True on Paramount+.  True stories from the FBI, in half hour episodes.  I've only watched one episode so far and I'm hooked.

Just watched the Bill Burr movie on Netflix, Old Dads.  It was alright.  Had some funny moments but not as good of a movie as I was expecting

I agree.  There were some funny moments, and it started well, but most of the movie just seemed drawn out and “forced.”  After a while, I found the woke hyperbole to be quite irritating.

Yeah the "edginess" wore off pretty quick and just became very repetitive.  Thought the movie started out decent and the ending was ok but the middle of the movie was pretty dull.  I also believe Comedy movies in general have fallen off a cliff for at least the last decade if not longer

I've been watching the new Frasier reboot(if that's what you wanna call it) on Paramount, after the first two episodes I didn't think it was very good and had low expectations but since then every episode keeps getting and better.  Not as good as the original but for today's standards worth checking out if you were a Frasier fan or just like sitcoms in general.

Me n the gal both liked The Light You Cannot See' on Netflix.  Very lovely story, but maybe a small bit of over-production/trying too hard - which mildly broke the illusion at points.  I'm becoming a big fan of Lars Eidinger, and he's a lot of terrible fun in this show.

just discovered recently there's a Criterion Collection channel.  To everyone's delight, YES, they do in fact still offer Ingmar Bergman's 'Seventh Seal', but tonight I watched 'Le Mans' with Steve McQueen.

Released in 1971, it is a gorgeous film.  The cars are amazing, but the racing cinematography is just perfection.  What they did in the last 20-30 minutes of the racing scene just makes you realize what professionals can really do, and what an army of computer graphics people can only still approximate.  The race scene from 50+ years ago, done with real cars, holds its own today- granted a few cuts in the crashes don't have the modern technology to smooth things out, but the photography often easily surpasses most GoPro's finest moments.

Trading off some old-world cringy race PA system announcements vs. some cringy acting, and CGI reliance in Ford vs. Ferrari, 'Le Mans' is a better film, though both are fun if you appreciate auto racing that goes both left AND right.

Watched "JFK, One Day in America" last night on Disney+  Three 45 minute segments, a lot of commentary by Clint Hill, Jackie's Secret Service lead.  Good stuff, with some footage I've never seen before.

Just finished bingeing this.  It was incredible and had me a bit misty a few times.  Also cool to see footage I’ve never seen before like the Oswald press conference.  I do like how they kept it classy and avoided all the conspiracy stuff.  Imagine if it hadn’t stopped raining in Dallas on that day.  🤔

Yes, the press conference segment was great, especially Oswald's reaction when the reporter told him he's been charged with killing the president.

We just finished the first season of "Wednesday" on Netflix. A bit darker than "The Addams Family," but quite entertaining. There will be a season 2.

Also on Netflix is a miniseries called "The Fall of the House of Usher." Many references to Edgar Allan Poe stories (including the series title), but even if you're not all that familiar with Poe's work, it's still a good show.

One of my favorite shows is back tonight!!!

Fargo: season 5 starts tonight on FX!!

Loving it so far......looks like an epic battle between Juno Temple and Jon Hamm is in store.

Can’t wait to see why “Dot” is so proficient in self-defense and weaponry.

Great cast.....looking forward to  seeing how it all comes together.

Looks like it may be coming out now a day earlier, on the 14th, from this tweet....

Loved season 1 and am really looking forward to season 2.

Also checked out the first episode of Obliterated on Netflix. Gonzo crazy, a few laughs, very raunchy. If you had a C Thomas Howell full frontal on your bingo card, congratulations.

Finished Obliterated and it was indeed Gonzo crazy. We liked it. Will never be mistaken for fine film making but it was very entertaining and had a lot of funny moments. Be forewarned, it is VERY raunchy so for those with children do not watch this if they are anywhere near the TV.

How is it that I’ve made it almost to age 45 before knowing about The Equalizer movies?!  I had the day off today and the wife went to bed early last night so I decided to watch the 1st one.  It was so amazing I decided to make a snack, take an gummy, and watch the 2nd one too!  Denzel is sooooo friggin good in that vigilante role.  Outstanding movies.

I just watched Netflix movie “leave the world behind.” It stars Julia Roberts and Ethan hawke and was actually produced by the Obamas.

i don’t think I have ever seen a worse movie in my life. I just had to come on here and warn people and vent— just a total waste of 2 hours. Slow and plodding for long stretches, plot is pointless, characters are all unlikeable.

I was torn between laughing and thanks, but since I’d be unlikely to ever watch that actual movie, and I DID actually laugh…….
