Heitz 1,398 Posted December 25, 2017 (edited) Just figured since many of us are sitting at home over the holidays, we could use a "watch to watch next" guide for Netflix I'll throw out American Vandal - if you like Serial or other crime dramas, and you have a sense of humor, I HIGHLY recommend! Maybe NSFW, kids, sensitive pets and the elderly Edited March 26, 2018 by Heitz
westside 464 Posted December 25, 2017 I just started watching cw tv show called Cult on Netflix. So far so good.
DC Tom 15,623 Posted December 25, 2017 Mindhunter is pretty good. Highly fictionalized...but the Edmund Kemper scenes throughout were pretty spooky. Binge-watching Daredevil now (side note: this flu going around gives you lots of time to binge-watch. But don't get it.) There's actually quite a bit about it that I don't care for, but it has some truly excellent visual and sound production work.

Greybeard 246 Posted December 25, 2017 Black Mirror is back on the 12/29. Tough decision to binge or savor. I am leaning to savor at the moment.

dpberr 553 Posted December 26, 2017 I'll add: Wheelman (Surprising gem.) Narcos (It's the Rosetta Stone of cinema - you'll be fluent in Spanish by the end of Season 1 and oddly skilled at smuggling.) The Punisher (IMO, the best of their superhero series.)

Steve O 291 Posted December 27, 2017 For any baseball enthusiasts I highly recommend The Battered Bastards of Baseball. True documentary about an independent class A minor league team owned by Kurt Russell's father Bing. Not a farm team to anyone, the team played for five seasons in the 70's. 2
Paulus 656 Posted December 27, 2017 (edited) Not on the flix, but Snowfall is pretty fun to watch, if you grew up in the 70s-90s. It really does a good job at capturing old school LA. Marco Polo and Black Mirror for Netflix shews. Edited December 27, 2017 by Paulus
LeGOATski 2,340 Posted December 27, 2017 (edited) Dark was good. If you're really into time-travel stories, it's excellent. It's German, though, with English voice-overs. I usually hate that. I want to hear their real voices and I'll gladly read the subtitles. I got over it pretty fast for this show, however. It's good. Jim and Andy is great. It's a documentary on about Carrey playing the role of Andy Kaufman. They're both crazy.
