r00tabaga
How'd you like that first half where we didnt even reach the 40? Epically great QB play there. One of many "not to the 50" halves for good ol' TT. Run, run, pass, punt. That was the theme in the 1st half. Didn't like the playcalls either. Good catch JSP. NewEra
Even if he catches it because the ball is so badly thrown he is down and whilst we get a chance to win it we still need to score with maybe 1 most 2 shots. A well thrown ball he walks in for a TD. In the NFL that isn't just open... it is wide freaking open. If your QB can't make that play he isn't worth having. It was a bad throw. Some of you are so desperate for TT to be the answer that you will literally blame everyone else around him. He was bad today. Teams do not respect our passing game. That says it all
Bangarang
Well if Zay doesn't stumble, and runs it out to where the Ball was thrown, it would have been right over his right shoulder... instead of over his left and over his head causing him to stretch back for it... But I dig the condescension in your post Bang. Still a vitriolic loser like back on BBF Oh look, you're now name calling. Isn't that lovely. Drunken Pygmy Goat
Are HappyDays and I the only people who saw Zay stumble coming out of his break which slowed him down considerably, and caused him to adjust awkwardly to get back on the route? Nope
BADOLBILZ
It was definitely a bad throw It also should have been caught Rookie who finished his route poorly. Nerves. Taylor released that ball before Jones made his fateful and ill-conceived turn to the sidelines. Jones caught that pass regularly in college and at Senior Bowl........he had the yips on front of the home folks today. He will catch them in the future..........but Jauron Ball leaves you no room for error and it shouldn't surprise anyone that a rookie had a couple uncharacteristic errors in a game like this..........that's why the roster is so old..........can't afford youthful yips/mistakes in Jauron Ball. Buffalo716
TT played very poorly all game ... But rewatch that play 5 times and then 50 more. Not a perfect pass but zay also doesn't run a great corner route. At the end of the day you are drafted and paid millions of dollars to catch that ball, which a lot of nfl receivers would have. Whether TT was bad all game is mute when the ball hits Zays hands at the 4. Great throw, no. Catchable, 100%

Felt good to stoop to your level of childishness when I was offering a perfectly plausible scenario in which the problem wasn't the pass, but the stumble coming out of the break. HappyDays
It's a good thing he did then because the throw would have been even more behind him and totally uncatchable. Behind him? What? Yeah.......lotta' sketchy football takes on this in this thread for some reason. When he popped free he seemed to panic......no reason to turn toward the sideline.......you open up to the QB and drift toward the pylon........there was nothing to gain by turning that route the way he did against zone..........he was WIDE OPEN. It's not necessarily a bad throw or a bad route by Zay. Looks like it was a miscommunication where Tyrod thought he would stay inside... another play where it is impossible to know who is at fault. Ran the route flat to the sideline after coming out of that break a little awkward... needed to run to the pylon. Not sure why he turned. apuszczalowski
Tyrod Freaking SUCKS! It was a crap throw Gannon even called it. No way the kid could adjust. Except that it hit him in the hands and he dropped it. NFL WRs make catches like that all the time. Not putting all the blame on Jones, but also not putting all teh blame on TT either. It could have been a better through, but an NFL WR should also be able to make catches on throws that don't have to hit them in the numbers. You think every one of Bradys throws are directly on target to his WRs? If the ball can hit a WR in both hands, they should be able to haul it in

Scott7975
The throw was bad. Zay sat down in a hole in coverage. Tyrod threw it behind him. Zay couldnt make the adjustment. However, I still expect a starting receiver to make that catch. They happen every Sunday, Monday, and Thursday. Tough catch yes. Amazing no.
