LancasterSteve
The Bills are awesome. They pick the lowest rated receiver in free agency. I'm sure other season ticket holders will notice the tight wallet by the bills and act accordingly with seat renewals. From what I was told last December; better than half of Club seats are up for renewal. Been in contact with all who sat around us and not one is renewing their club seats.....sad but it is what it is after 10 years of no playoffs. No matter how much of a splash the Bills make in free agency many people have just given up on the Bills.

Meacham is EXACTLY what we need to complement Stevie, and will leave us enough cash to chase Mario. Meacham can play, and will surprise some people who haven't watched him that closely. "Bills General Manager Buddy Nix said this morning that the team is planning to make waves with a free agent signing or two that makes the league take notice" No. I would not consider signing the Saints #2 WR something that would make the league take notice. Do you? How many? One would be nice. Two would be outstanding. I have no real opinion on Meachem specifically. All I was saying is I don't think he is a "big splash" Nix was talking about is all. 947
Meachem is a solid WR, and not just a go-route speedster like Lee Evans. Meachem was the sole WR on the field in the Saints' jumbo/run packages for the past 3 years, the guy can block.

Obviously Williams would fill the biggest but I think that's about the limit of reasonable expecation. After that they can draft the best OLB or OT at #10 and I'm starting to feel good about this team for the first time in a while. ndirish1978
Redskins gave Garcon more than we gave Stevie. We'd likely now have to pay our #2 WR more than our #1 if we sign him. Thank you Redskins, for sucking.

3rdand12
I imagine most of you have been getting more data and a better feel for these ranked receivers before hand knowing our needs. I'm ecstatic about bringing this guy in and the way they are approaching both these guys. Shows they are serious and want that to be clear enough to players about us. Thats why they may be making their first visit here. and hopefully last. Big need is WR along side Stevie. so another hole i too consider filled if we sign Robert. dont forget about the draft. Getting Mario would be equal to TWO big splashes in my accounting! I think when Buddy spoke he was getting over excited. Almost like he wanted to brag already. Go Bills!! kabnt2005
With the Bills brass having dinner with Williams who is entertaining Meacham? PTR Gailey went to go get Meachem (which makes sense since he calls the plays). Not sure if they'd roll the courting of the two together into one dinner meeting or not. Definitely should be bringing some current players into the mix to talk the team up.

Filling 2 HUGE holes via FA almost allows us to fill the rest via the draft. Draft LT and OLB in rounds 1 and 2 hopefully. Cb, TE, Wr and DE or OLB with the next 4 picks. This is crazy. While it makes so much sense for us to sign him, I just didnt have the confidence in our FO to Mario signed. Virgil
Going into today, I had no idea RM was even a blip on the Bills radar. However, knowing how much they put into signing him, this is a huge problem. To lose out on him amongst this presentation to a team who probably just texted a deal to him goes to show just how pathetic this team is to other players. If we lose out on Mario, and I believe we might, then tomorrow would be one of the darkest days in franchise history.
