Matthew wright is also available

He and Dustin hopkins will be Looking for a starting role.

I think these opportunities are for practice squad. To either or both:

1) break glass if needed

2) use in practice to cut down on reps for t.bass

I dont want a kicker we can call "wide wright"

you're correct. we drafted him. he joins a long list of drafted kickers that went on to great success.

Gary Anderson, Dustin Hopkins, Pete Gogolak all left buffalo to have long careers.

Hopkins has not had great success. He's been up and down ever since he left Buffalo including last year. He just got beat out by a rookie. But he is an experienced veteran and Im surprised he is not being looked at

Speculation. The Bills and all other teams bring in kickers and other positions for work outs all the time. Good intel for either when you need them later, or for the practice squad.

Why the f.u.ck is everyone hurt this year? Maybe we're getting all our injuries out of the way now?

The question should be, why the heck is Beane addressing this now!?

didn’t the Bills take Hopkins in the draft a few years ago? Or am I mistaken

Yup that was when the Bills had the all Florida State Special Teams unit.

I hear Justin Tucker is available... oh wait... :P

Is he really that radioactive? i mean he’s a dumbass but doesn’t seem to prevent other teams from signing guys like this

Yea then he got hurt in camp, spent his rookie year on IR during which time Dan Carpenter came in and had a great year so got extended. Hopkins got cut in his second camp.

Then Carpenter blew chunks.

I’d be fine with them taking a gamble on Caden Davis for the beginning of the year - his leg looked alive when he kicked in the preseason.

He has a leg no doubt but as eluded think a guy like Piniero be ideal as he's a proven guy.

He's been in the league 12 years. I respectfully disagree he's not found success

He might be, but I think we'd have to massage the numbers to sign him and stay under the cap

Some posters on this board just rub me the wrong way 😏

I've heard that it's hard being a holder for Tucker.
