I been thinking it but reluctant to post it, because I’m gonna get slammed.  But… if our chances for a Super Bowl hinge on ..multiple..  rookies playing well against KC…well, we’re *****.    
 

It’s kinda funny to see the reactions to rookies in their first preseason game.

Tre White got picked on. Not sure how much stock to put on it. Trubs seemed to run the offense better than White but neither wowed me. Ty Johnson is the man. Shavers is a dawg. Walker had that flash. Buffalo Joe is a capable NFL player. Shenault upped his stock. I need to rewatch to focus on Hancock and Sanders.

Part of that is being opposite an elite corner. You get almost every throw coming your way because they avoid Benford.

This feels very frantic, anxious, and not how football works.

 

There's a lot of calls to be mad at. Picking up a bad flag during preseason is the absolute worst football related thing to be mad at in the history of football.

 

Enjoy the weekend, football is back, today was meaningless outside of seeing some film on some fringe players.

Top two objectives of preseason games:

 

1. Make it through without any major injuries..........check

 

2. Get the rookies and young players plenty of reps so they can make some good plays, and yes some rookie mistakes, in a game that is meaningless........check.

Having been at the game today, the refs are clearly working the rust off. Absolutely horrible and repeatedly confused from start to finish. Geeez

broadcast crew was too. Several penalties assigned to wrong teams on the score bug, Tasker was tough to listen to, etc
