They were going to draft a safety either way, but a 1 year deal.seems pretty temporary- like they plan to take one who could compete to start in a year (or sooner). As of now, we have 2 backups (Lewis, Edwards), a fringe starter/better used in subpackages (Rapp), and a likely to be cut player (Hamlin).
