I don’t think KC getting premier TV slots has to do with having “all of the Midwest” (which I’m not sure is true anyway - bit to the S it’s Cowboys, bit to the NE would prefer Bears, bit to the N it’s Vikes. KC is “prime time” because teams tend to pick up fans when they win championships and have an admired star player. The Patriots picked up fans all over when they were winning Superbowls with Tom Brady and he was the league’s darling. Pat Mahomes has assumed that mantle with 3 Super Bowl appearances and 2 rings, all the ads and attention. Very popular. We may not like it, but it “is what it is” until attention turns elsewhere The point I was trying to make was that the market they have isn't small, where they're located gives them a large number of States in the Midwest. Warcodered
The refs seem just generally awful, if they were just bad like that missed call against the Lions earlier I was going to say they just grandfathered Stafford in with those missed roughing calls, but they're just terrible. 1

BuffaloRebound
NFL needs to protect a runner‘s head when they’re going down or already engaged in a tackle. Absurd that a defender can go after a guys head when he’s going down.

But TV market doesn’t depend on states, it depends on people. The point I was trying to make is that a lot of KC’s market isn’t in the Midwest states, a lot of which don’t have high populations. Since they’re winning, a lot f audience around the country outside “flyover country” wants to see the Chiefs.
