UDFA's 2023

With only 6 picks this year,  we may end up being pretty active signing UDFA's.   I know every year people are clamoring for certain guys so I thought it may be good to make a list of guys to look out for who may drop out of the draft.  It will make Day 3 interesting.

Crazy measurable, could be worth a flyer if he drops.

My buddy who's a Hokie fan loves this guy.

TE:

An athletic freak.

Project

Big kid with solid hands.

OL

A flyer on a Morse replacement

Seems like a smart kid who can be coached up

I'll hit up the defense later.  There's a lot of great insight at https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com.

You've gotta think Beane will wheel and deal to get a few more picks it's just in his DNA to make draft day trades.

Thanks for pulling this info together. Kuntz is really intriguing. How is it that Penn State found no use for him (he transferred to Old Dominion after his junior year). 6'8", 4.55 40?

I'd bring in 3 DTs and 3 or 4 edge guys. Hope one of them pans out.

I dont think they are going to draft a TE so I would sign one or two, preferably with that former basketball player history.

Sign a punter and kicker to handle camp kicks to keep our guys fresh.

If you count Von Miller as a DE, Bills already have 14 DLINE guys. With other position groups to fill out, they aren't going to bring in 6 more.

I'd like to see if there is anything to be Salvaged from on of the former highest prospected college receivers Joseph Ngata who kinda fell off the face of the earth as far as recognition.   Has some great physical traits.  Maybe some better coaching can help him evolve into the receiver he was supposed to be.

Apparently he couldn’t beat out Brenton Strange.  Strange is a decent prospect in his own right.  Sometimes a change of scenery opens up opportunities, but you have to look with some skepticism at guys who transfer to lower levels of competition.

The Bowser kid is intriguing as he's got size/strength, decent wheels, and a nose for the endzone.

Forget wasting third-rounders on unimpressive athletes who weigh 205 lb. (Singletary and Moss). Not saying Bowser pans out but history shows he very well could.

It will be hard for Bowser to make the 53 man roster in September barring an injury to the guys who will likely be ahead of him in July.  However, he has the kind of skill set that suggests he could make a contribution to the offense if he were given a chance.  It will be fun to see what he can do in training camp and preseason to get past the veteran big backs (Harris and Murray).
