co_springs_billsfan
The question is not whether the niners win or lose. The question is who is the backup quarterback that will replace Purdy when he's inevitably injured. Â Edit:. Looked it up. It's Josh Johnson Edited January 14, 2023 by co_springs_billsfan
Mr. WEO
Should be Lions.  Seahawks were gifted this playoff appearance.  They will be bounced

jkeerie
As much as I appreciate Geno Smith's maturing and finally playing well as a QB, they need to emphasize the run and not put the game in Geno's hands. The SF D is just too tough.

Big Turk
That looked like the Ingram play on 3ed down in the Giants SB where 8 Bills missed him.
BillsSbSoon
Had a feeling hawks will cover but I’m prolly overthinking it. At some point here though some team is going to make Purdy look like a rookie. Could be today.
Joe Ferguson
49ers are in a roll. Wouldn't it be something if Brock Purdy gets a ring before Allen and Burrow?

Although that was not a strong start for him. He doesn't miss a ton of throws but strung together a few questionable ones there. Struggle with a wet ball? First playoff nerves? Is it stupid windy on the Cali coast?
Big Turk
If that was Allen, Gipson would have had an indentation on the turf from getting stuff armed so hard to the ground. Edited January 14, 2023 by Big Turk
Freddie's Dead
JA can do that, Geno can't. Bad 3rd down playcalls by the Seabags early.
Simon
Refreshing to see a defender that actually knows how to properly deal with a stiff arm. You grab it and try to break it in half.

stevestojan
Purdy is in a no-win situation. He wins and he was supposed to. He loses? Memories will be short in the Bay Area fan base. He’s 23. And the average age isn’t much higher than that in the AFC. I guess as I get older I am more and more impressed with the pressure these kids are able to manage.

Nitro
At this stage of the season, little things count. The Geno Smith run should have been a long gain or TD. Metcalf gave a half hearted block to the guy crossing the formation who ended up making the tackle. If Metcalf did a better job, there was no one to the outside. Little things. Billsfan1972
Another run after catch, plenty of time and easy. Now an easy td. Maybe Bills/Dorsey should be watching. Edited January 14, 2023 by Billsfan1972
Freddie's Dead
Gonna be a long day for the Seabags. They don't have the D to stop CMC, and their O is impotent against the 49ers D.

SCBills
So far, this is why any casual football fan should’ve been rooting for Green Bay.  Seattle is the most fraudulent team in the playoffs.
