I still think this is probably a matter of Hopkins trying to put out smoke to get things moving with another team. But if it is real and there is a way to do it, I'd be thrilled to be wrong. Magox Posted March 23, 2023 Share Posted March 23, 2023 Obviously, in order to have a successful franchise you have to make some meaningful draft selections that become impact players but what has equally important and shown with teams such as the Patriots, Rams, Chiefs among others is going through these short-term rentals through FA and trades to go after some key pieces to take them over the top. When you have a great QB it makes it a lot easier to get these players, as long as Josh Allen is the QB, they Bills should be spending the $$ and maneuvering the cap until the day J.A retires. By the time he is at his end or retires, who cares? It will be time to rebuild anyway.
