Since I live in Colorado, I’ve seen an awful (and I mean “awful”) lot of the Broncos these last few years. Chubb is a very good player. Not so much an edge rusher as a guy who can bring pressure often enough, and also strong against the run. Not a game changer by any means, but he’ll be an upgrade over the guy whose snaps he takes. Kind of a more developed Boogie Basham. I don’t like to see that the Dolphins finally seem to know what they’re doing, but this one doesn’t really worry me. If you watch closely, his completions are wildly inaccurate but he benefits from speedy wide open receivers. Against good defenses in the playoffs we’ll see how far that takes them. On paper they are a very scary team at the moment, but he is still flawed. I’m not saying he’s the perfect or even a great QB, but he’s doing something right. It’s not all in spite of Tua.
