The preseason hype was that they were Super Bowl contenders, hell even the Colts were supposed to be good.

Ya exactly.

I never bought into both of these teams, especially the colts, but I see how the nfl thought it would be a big matchup cause the QBs changing teams

Could some team have claimed Phillip Lindsay off their practice squad like yesterday just to mess with the Colts running game?

No. Players can’t be claimed off practice squads. Teams can offer them to sign to their active roster though, and the player would have to accept the contract.

Why would anyone put this up as a prime time game?

the only QBs that are worth a prime time slot nowadays are:

1. JA17

2. Kermit

3. A Rod (though I’m getting tired of him)

4. The deflator

5. burrow

6. Lamar

who cares about the other teams at this point. Give me something good to watch, bc this garbage with Russel and Ryan is a snooze fest

How is Jeudy looking for a flag there. I’m so sick of players getting up from everything asking for a flag. I’d like to see it become an unsportsmanlike penalty to ask for a flag.

I mean he's not the camera, from his perspective the defender hit him before the ball got there, he didn't see that the defender was playing the ball.

How did we live with these kind of offenses for 17 years

I was just thinking the same thing—this game so makes me appreciate what we have even more. Frankly, it’s jarring watching this barnburner of 1970’s offensive football play out…

Just wait until that sick deviant in Cleveland is allowed to play in a few weeks…

Lol- it's funny as I remember when the bills were bad and we were always like:

"why don't the bills get any prime time games!"

Now we see why haha as it's not fun watching mediocre football.

Bad QB football is bad football…it’s why college football sucked last year.

Not an expert but maybe the Colts should run a screen and a couple quick slants because whatever they are trying to do isn't working with that oline.

Frank Reich had the Doug marrone script that past drive.

Run, run, then shotgun throw on 3rd and short

Maybe Frank should strap on a helmet and go out there, doesn't feel like it could hurt at this point.

And to think, the Colts somehow beat the cheifs a few weeks ago

I didn’t watch that game at all besides the highlights; I wonder if the Chiefs played down to the Colts’ level or the Colts played that one like their own personal Super Bowl.  Or some combination of both?

For sure. I personally don't mind a defensive struggle.

I definitely get why people find it boring though.

There’s a difference between a battle of great defenses and a game involving washed-up quarterbacks. The former can be exciting (like the Homerun Throwback game) and the latter just sucks.
