Big Blitz
A cautionary tale... Just felt too soon for him. He tore his about a month after White - December 19. I have no idea if the hammy pull is connected to his speedy comeback - but I'd wager it is. You're already at a higher risk of re injury if you come back at less then 9 months which Godwin essentially did practicing in August. Making sure your legs are in shape, no muscle imbalances all takes time or you also increase the risk of soft tissue injuries. I expect what I've been saying since the beginning. October 31 at the earliest for Tre. I've read some studies that flat out conclude you shouldn't return before 9-12 months. Host of other things that could go wrong before that. I think it's very possible if we're winning (say 6-1 at the bye) that we won't see Tre till Thanksgiving or later. He is at the peak of his career and I've felt from the start this would be much closer to 12 months. Get well and get right Tre! Want you as close to 100% for December/January as possible.

You really try to avoid the imbalance issues but after a major injury it is so hard to do
EmotionallyUnstable
The Hyde injury has me wondering about Tre. Haven’t heard much of anything regarding his recovery or potential return to practice week 5.

I know they won't rush him back regardless of our current secondary situation.

Yep… the studies suggest waiting at least 9 months before returning to sport will reduce reinjury or injury by at least 50%…. I recall Jerry Rice coming back to play from an ACL reconstruction after just 4 months…. He dislocated his patella that same game.😅 Edited September 25, 2022 by ScottLaw

Solomon Grundy
Honestly, I don't want him activated until the week before KC. Let him get his legs in the week prior to the game. Tre is our Kelce stopper.
Captain Caveman
What do you think, will Tre be practicing this week? Dane Jackson and Elam played well today, but if Poyer is out too we could use all the help we can get.

He's scored each of the last 4 games vs us (6 TDs) and hefty amounts of yardage .

He was a close decision before the roster was set based on what McD and Frazier said so this past month was probably additional healing time for him.

The Wiz
Was more referring to being activated from the PUP list. He's not allowed to practice with the team while still on it. But I do agree, he will likely just be getting back into things (assuming he's brought back this week) and they have no need to rush him back against Pitt. KC would be a tough one without him but having the bye after, it does make more sense to just let him get the reps in so he's ready for GB. Doesnt mean he will play next week but I think he will come off PuP at least. Poyer said he was fine and just got the win knocked out of him btw. HurlyBurly51
Depends on when the Bills want to start the clock. Don’t they have 21 days to use or lose him once he starts practicing? “Once a player leaves the reserve/PUP list, he has up to 21 days to return to the 53-man roster. He can practice with the team until he’s taken off the list. If the player still isn’t able to play in games after the 21-day span, he’ll stay on the reserve/PUP list for the rest of the season.” Edited October 3, 2022 by HurlyBurly51 Update
