Patriots LT Isaiah Wynn is OUT vs Bills

Recommended Posts

Pats fans are saying it's addition by subtraction. I guess he allowed more sacks than the other linemen.

Doubt it. They loved Wynn last year.  That was probably just the spot Jones went to with his 2-step pocket "scramble."

Mills being out is pretty big, too. Their secondary ain't deep.  After all of this hand-wringing, it would be cool if it was a Bills blowout by halftime & we could get Trubisky some work.

Wynn is a big time loss but would still be concerned with the Pats ability to run the ball and Belichik knows the best strategy to win this game keep Allen and the Bills offense off the field with long sustained drives similar to to the first matchup.

You mean like the game in Cheaterland.  You know, the one without 50 MPH winds?  LOL!

Brilliant logic.  How bad are the other guys that, despite allowing more sacks than the other linemen, he was still starting?

Agree. Whoever they replace him with won't matter because their O line is allowed to hold D linemen anyway.

Whoever replaces Mills is gonna get smoked like a pack of Kools.

This is what concerns me.  That the zebras will try and even things up by allowing them to hold Jerry even more than usual, if that's even possible.

From a Pats reporter earlier in the week.

@ZackCoxNESN

Jalen Mills has allowed 20 or fewer receiving yards in eight of the Patriots' last nine games, per

@PFF

. He's been very solid. Not good to be shorthanded at corner vs. BUF, too. Bills have a lot of WR talent and like to spread it out.

The one that saw a 40mph wind blow a sure touchdown out of Diggs' hands, that strategy?  I'll take it.

Patriots left tackle Isaiah Wynn has been downgraded to out vs the Bills. He injured his knee and ankle last week vs the Dolphins. Justin Herron will be his replacement.

The Patriots listed 13 players as questionable in order to keep the Bills guessing, but most if not all of the others will be active on Saturday. All 12 other players listed as questionable made the trip to Buffalo.

UPDATE: CB Jalen Mills may also out pending test results (covid list)

Herron? Onwenu usually bounces to the tackle and Herron goes to guard.. that’s actually been a decent O line.. Wynn out just means we won’t get a holding call after a huge gain… lol…
