Chandler#81
Allen, Diggs & Milano are no-brainers, so who are the final 2? List should include Tre White, T. Johnson, Edmunds, Hyde, Poyer (Hyde/Poyer?), Bass, Dawkins & Beasley. The entire DL has improved but with constant breathers for every guy, no one plays much more than half the plays. If we had a ‘Bruce Smith type’ , he’d play most every play. Our OL is good, but not great. No one other Dawkins is even being considered League wide. For me, Tre and Hyde, though I think Poyer is viewed more favorably by League followers. Micah just seems to always be in control of himself and makes savvy decisions all game, every game. Who ya got and why?
dma0034
Tre White 100%. Before Milano. I could argue between Dawkins and Poyer (2 game sample isn't enough to knock Dawkins for me)

billsbackto81
Dawson Knox: Yeah I said it! 6 catches on 7 targets. Big 3rd down catches and a TD Motor: Yeah I said that too!! On pace for over 1200 yards, 6.4 ypc , 5 first down runs and a TD Taron Johnson: The kid can rush the passer, stick the rusher and cover the slot. Thumper who plays with no regard for his health. I can dig it! Milano: Probably the most versatile defensive player we have playing at a Pro Bowl level. Remember when people thought 11 Mil per was too much for him? 🤣 Diggs: Gonna be hard to match last season but he's still the best WR we have and has to be accounted for at all times.
machine gun kelly
The last two after you’re first three would be Tre, and if last year Dawkins, but right now until he’s 100% id go with Hyde. It’s difficult as as a unit, the guys you never want hurt in addition to these five are T Johnson, Poyer, Edmunds, Star (IMO as he did a nice job against Miami) Oliver, and so on. There aren’t that many guys who are just interchangeable and you don’t lose much if they are not there. We have a very capable team.
GunnerBill
Depend what I am categorising them by? My favourite 3 current Bills are: 1. Diggs 2. Milano 3. Poyer Who do I think are our best 5 players: 1. Allen 2. White 3. Diggs 4. Poyer 5. Dawkins (I know he has had a rough start but he has had a difficult offseason once he gets back to himself he will be fine) I'd have Milano 6th.

ProcessYaDigg
I think for this list, you need to include all 3 phases. 2 from offense, 2 from defense, and a special teamer I'm gonna leave JA off this list. I would include Dawkins, who protects Allen. Diggs, can get open and create space at will. Defense is way tougher for me. Every single one of those guys are contributing in a big way. For the backfield, as it stands today, Taron Johnson is just all over the place and making big time plays. The next has to be a tie between Milano/Rousseau who continue disrupting the passing game. My special teamer has to be Taiwan Jones.

Draconator
This is tougher than you would think 1. Allen 2. Diggs 3. Milano 4. Epenesa 5. Taron But Poyer, Hyde, Knox, Dawkins, Singletary all could be there. Add: Oliver, Rousseau. Bass Edited September 21, 2021 by Draconator

elijah
Are we talking so far this season? If that’s the case then my list would look something like 1. Milano 2. Epenesa 3. Singletary 4. Taron Johnson 5. Tre White If were talking about some combination over the past couple years and just generally what I’m expecting from players on a week to week basis then 1. Allen 2. Diggs 3. Poyer 4. Tre White 5. Micah

That might be the worst gaff I’ve seen on here all season. I love Milano as much as the next guy, but he’s not even close to Tre’s level. This is the same Milano people here weren’t even sure they wanted to resign or not whose not even in the top 10 at his own position while Tre is not only one of the best at his position, but one of the best overall defensive players in the NFL. Allen, Diggs, Tre are the only indisputable locks on this team. Dawkins, Hyde, Poyer, Beasley, Hughes, Milano can all make a case for the final 2 spots. And if we want to base it on the first 2 games…Rousseau and AJE are beginning to make their own cases for this list. I love Tre as much as the next guy, but opposing teams have no problem throwing his way every game/test him every game with some degrees of success, whereas they’re beginning to gameplan away from Milano. TreDay is a fine, Pro Bowl CB. Milano -when healthy- changes games. Imo. “people here” ??? Brand J
So far, it does seem to the untrained eye that Milano has been more impactful on the field than Tre White, but that’s not to take anything away from Tre. Milano has been balling, coverage, blitzes, tackles, he’s been a wrecking ball.

Who ya got and why? You lost me at Edmunds. Not sure he should even be starting on our team ahead of AJ Klein or Dodson or any team in the NFL for that matter. Maybe put him on kickoff coverage since he is pretty fast and can just crash into guys since he sure can't tackle. But as to your original question, Tre White without question. Both our offensive tackles suck so far. I would say Reusseau (how the hell do you spell that name-is he Cajun?) Epenesa and Oliver should all be considered. Our safety's are both very good NFL players. And Dane Jackson will become a topic of discussion in the near future. The guy is a good football player. Just needs the experience of playing in the NFL. Has more upside then Levi Wallace. (Oops I forgot that this is the Levi Wallace fan page.) We are a team of a lot of good NFL players. But not a lot of Superstars. If Josh can take it up to last years level, and the defense keeps playing like it has, we are a strong Super Bowl contender.
CuseBill
Personally, I think it's an impossible question to answer. I think after Josh, Diggs and Tre (yes I would put him in the top 3) we have quite a few players who are equally good and important to the team, for different reasons. I might even have a hard time saying who I think the top 10 are. Better scenario than years ago we could only identify Brian Moorman as our top player!
