Southern_Bills
Cost of winning and also with last year's losses it was bound to happen. Though if they keep winning I could see it continue to go up.
Greg S
No surprise given the season they just had. The Pegula's know the demand for season/individual tickets will be insane as the Bills future is extremely bright.

Big Turk
Pretty obvious that would be the case considering the success the team had last year and the mania happening in this area regarding the team.

I did not read it that way. if your ticket cost $75 in 2020 then it will be between $88 and $94 in 2021.

The Jets haven't raised the prices of their tickets for three years now. Given the product they put on the field they probably should lower the price

I wouldn't even know where to begin to fix the Sabres. Obviously they need an experienced hockey man with a history of winning to run the entire hockey ops. Who that would be I have no idea. Finding that person is the biggest challenge for the Pegula's. We have seen what having the right people run the Bills has accomplished.

Actually they eschewed the advice of the league.....which was to hire a football czar like Bill Polian..........hired Rex then cut bait.......and then hired a guy with zero experience as a HC at any level and a grass-green personnel man as GM. Beane had only been assisting in the Carolina personnel department for 2 seasons. But I know what you are saying.........the Sabres are such a mess that clarity on how to fix it is difficult to find. We have seen what having the right people run the Bills has accomplished. You are absolutely correct Greg. There is a lot of chatter out there about the Pegula's "management" of the Sabres. The difference between the Sabres & the Bill's is simply that the Pegula's made good hiring decisions with the Bill's & not so good decisions (to be kind) with the Sabres.

Not to turn this into a Sabres thread, but I follow them in only the most peripheral of ways and am wondering what the hell is going on. Bear in mind that I know very little (I followed them closely as a kid, but that was a very, very long time ago). In a nutshell, what is wrong with them? Don't they have a ton of elite-level draft picks? Isn't that guy Dahlin supposed to be a transcendental talent? More broadly, isn't it nearly impossible mathematically to fail to make the playoffs for ten years straight in the NHL? What gives?

Poor stewardship from the owners. A like-able coach whose plan really doesn't fit the personnel or translate to the ice. Something like Rex trying to force his D on Schwartz personnel. A lack of leadership on the ice. The effort early in the season was not complete enough to execute the system on either end..........now it's just woeful.

In general I agree with this but we've gone from the cheapest tickets under Ralph to closer to middle of the pack so it's not the same "bargain" level as it once was. Where we get a bargain is not being up-charged for the fact that the market doesn't create as much endorsement and luxury seating revenue potential. I have seasons for the Jets( two tickets). The last year at Giants Stadium they were $75 a ticket. So $150 x 10 games = $1500. It was also $20 to park so $20 x 10 = $200. It was $1700 for everything at Giants Stadium. At MetLife $125 per ticket. So $250 x 10 = $2500. Parking is the same so add $200 for that. PSL fee $1000 per year for 10 years. My PSL fee is $5000 per seat. I am paying it over 10 years. Bottom line $1700 at Giants Stadium. $3700 at MetLife. Buffalo is a different market than the NYC/NJ market so the prices may be different but you know the Pegula's won't be paying for a new stadium. That honor goes to Bills season ticket holders. I didn't even read the article but I just did. It's right in the article posted . Quote Despite that, the Bills expect that they will remain in the bottom quarter of the 32-team league in average pricing. “We're comparing our 2021 pricing to the other NFL teams’ 2020 pricing, and we're roughly 20% lower than the NFL average, still,” Colleary said. Based on the 2020 NFL Fan Cost Index published by the independent Team Marketing Report, the Bills’ average season ticket price for a general admission seat was the most inexpensive in the NFL. The Bills offer 20% of the seats inside Bills Stadium for less than $55 per game, and 64% of their seats for less than $100 per game. “We try to look at the dollar increase, as well as the percentage and the impact on people and try to be fair,” Colleary said. “Any time when there is any type of rescaling or repricing, it varies for some people. There are some accounts, similar to years past, their invoice cost might go down a little bit. There are others that go up.”
BillsPride12
The way I see it you can't beat those prices for a team that is at AFC Championship caliber right now and will be a potential Super Bowl contender for the near future.

davefan66
Hate seeing my ticket prices go up. Understand that is the price of a winning team and them attempting to capture revenue from a full stadium. Overall, dang cheap by NFL standards.

They are still a bargain in my mind. This might be unpopular with season ticket holders, but I try to hit one home game and one road game a year. Both are actually “travel games” for me, so when you consider transportation, hotels, car rentals, etc an extra $25-$50 goes almost unnoticed. Now.....the StubHub fees still tick me off!
