Raiders trade Lynn Bowden to Miami

If Miami ends up switching him back to WR, much like we use Isaiah McKenzie, then this move could end up being a great one for them. Reports out of Raiders camp say he was having trouble picking up pass protections, which as a guy that played QB and WR in college, isn't the most shocking thing in the world. He is dangerous with the ball in his hands, and if he keeps his nose clean, I fear he could be dangerous if used correctly in Miami.

That’s the kicker.... Chucky tried to convert him to a RB and the kid couldn’t grasp the transition. He’s a kid that can just go out and make plays though. My money is on Gruden making him think too much or he did some stupid ***** in Vegas.

Trump must love this guy. Takes two titles from him: Least Attractive Billionaire and Worst Billionaire Hair

I’d agree entirely if I thought for a second that Trump was really a billionaire.

What a weird move from Vegas.. can’t say I’m shocked but dang the kid doesn’t even get a game in

Gruden and Mayock are a clown show appropriate for Vegas.  Two years after trading away Mack and Cooper, they’re still trying to find a top edge rusher and #1 WR.  They should add the Ryan brothers to the coaching staff to make their show complete.

He’s not a billionaire.  His net worth is about $250M.

Mark Davis or Trump? Mark Davis has a 47% share of the Raiders, whose value exceeds $2billion. Despite what “Celebrity Net Worth” might state, he is a billionaire in assets.

Then he should get a billionaire’s haircut and not look like a 5-year old whose Mom cut his hair using a bowl.

They draft him in the 3rd round this year and already have soured that badly on him to dump him AND a pick for a 4th??

That is pretty crazy. How bad do you have to be as a 3rd round pick to have a team give up on you before even playing in a game??

Not quite as bad as Jachai Polite who was drafted at the top of the 3rd round by the jets last year and released in training camp.

Yes, but that apparently was a mistake.  An assistant coach told Williams "that guy's Polite", and Williams is alleged to have said "I want only thugs and hitmen on the D.  Get rid of him!"

Usually when a team cuts bait this early on a pick that high, it’s usually off field concerns in addition to on field. That was definitely the case with polite. Wouldn’t surprise me with Bowden either, he was highly recruited out of Youngstown  but Ohio state couldn’t take him due to off field

That is probably true though it also didn`t help that the gm who drafted him got fired before camp started.  It looks like he made the Rams 53 this season.
