Greg S
https://news.yahoo.com/football-may-not-happen-fauci-130650171.html My meaningless opinion is it gets delayed to a later start as a worst case scenario. To much $$$ to be made. Of course this has to(might) happen when the Bills are primed for a great season. 1

strive_for_five_guy
If cancelled, fingers crossed the schedule and league is just delayed a year. It would be a bummer to miss out on so many enticing locations (Vegas, Nashville).
T master
Given this up tick in the virus due to what ever you want to put the blame on there could be a chance that it will be much harder for the NFL to pull off the season . I drive entertainer coach for a living and all our concert tours have been cancelled until 2021 so anything is possible when it comes to the NFL not being able to play due to this stuff ...
Don Otreply
How this would surprise anyone would be a surprise. It has been the Damocles sword hanging over the season from the get go. Fauci is one of the brightest medical minds in our nation, he is smart enough and honest enough to go with the best information available concerning Covid-19, he doesn’t lie, and has been a breath of fresh air on the national front unlike others. Go Bills!!! Edited June 18, 2020 by Don Otreply 17 2

It's not really even about whether he's right or wrong. It's really about how serious the risks become, and whether the NFL can deal with those risks, both for the player's safety, and the safety of the communities they play in. Whether football happens, or not-- he's not wrong. 5 2

Don’t believe a word this clown says. #CancelFauci "All obstructions to the execution of the laws, all combinations and associations, under whatever plausible character, with the real design to direct, control, counteract, or awe the regular deliberation and action of the constituted authorities, are destructive of this fundamental principle, and of fatal tendency. They serve to organize faction, to give it an artificial and extraordinary force; to put, in the place of the delegated will of the nation the will of a party, often a small but artful and enterprising minority of the community; and, according to the alternate triumphs of different parties, to make the public administration the mirror of the ill-concerted and incongruous projects of faction, rather than the organ of consistent and wholesome plans digested by common counsels and modified by mutual interests. However combinations or associations of the above description may now and then answer popular ends, they are likely, in the course of time and things, to become potent engines, by which cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled men will be enabled to subvert the power of the people and to usurp for themselves the reins of government, destroying afterwards the very engines which have lifted them to unjust dominion." George Washington. I truly feel sorry for people who base all their perceptions on political party allegiance. This "clown" has literally saved thousands of lives with his work. Stop being a puppet. This statement is exactly the kind of narrative that I'm talking about. There is absolutely no reason to believe that Fauci, a 79-year-old epidemiologist, has, at any point in all of this, been untruthful. The narrative you're pushing, however, has easily recognizable political motives. 3

Masks don't work except for the specific type which were needed for health care workers and have been in short supply. What they eventually decided was that other masks while not able to protect you from getting it could make you less likely to spread it so using cloth masks was given the go ahead. 4 2
