Chandler#81
He ranks right up there with Harvey Johnson for most unworthy Head Coach. Even with Kelly, Bruce, Reed, Ritcher, Talley, Ken Jones, Metzalars & Robb Riddick, we were in disarray under his ‘leadership’. Bounce Hank and immediately defeat Division Leader Steelers. But ..um.. Rest In Peace.

Lurker
RIP Hank. It's tough to be the next man up (at HC) if you're not capable of doing the job. That was on Ralph and his cluster**** management style in those years more than on Bullough.
RochesterRob
Harvey Johnson did not want the job but took it after Ralph begged him to do so. IIRC Ralph fired him at the end of the stint.

Create hate & discontent in the locker room so the team sucks and refuses to play? It had nothing to do with trading a 1st Round pick AND Greg Bell which brought TThomas & Cornelius Bennett? Shatcanning him for Marv Levy? I’m a Big Picture guy. That’s a narrow window you’re peeping through.

Freddie's Dead
Late in the 2005 season, as the Bills were crashing to a 5-11 record, Mike Mularkey opined "They took the sails right out of our wind".
