I don't think that going to four straight Super Bowls, or even five would be the trigger that causes him to retire. Even if I thought that, I wouldn't want to see him get it just to be rid of him. Record or no record, his body is going to break down and give out at some point. Father Time is undefeated. No need for it, but they do not know how to turn the switch off. You dont get to that level without being kinda insane like that. If they knew how to turn that drive off, they wouldn't be who they are. Brady will probably find a new thing that drives him like football does, or he'll miserable. Built in nature. I also have said on many occasions that Tommy also wants Most Career Passing TDs and Most Career Passing Yards. The only one standing in his way is Drew Brees. A) He obviously knows that this would be the 4th consecutive Super Bowl should they make it, assuming he can count on his fingers and remember the last few years. B) He obviously knows the Buffalo Bills and Jim Kelly and that the early 90s teams remain the franchise's greatest accomplishment, unless we're counting the 1960s, or OJ Simpson's 2000 yard year... he's played football in Buffalo for 20 years, he certainly knows our lore. So how much has he put these thoughts together? How often is he thinking about the Bills at the same time he's thinking about Super Bowl records? Has he smirked his little goblin grin at the idea of climbing to another plateau, one that would count as three wins at once — further solidifying his GOAT status, and further torturing Buffalo? Does he view Bills fans with derision, apathy, contempt, pity? I don't know but I would venture to say that Bills fans think about Brady more than he thinks about Bills fans. It is way more plausible he wants the TD and yards records, one more SB and call it a day. I am pretty sure he wants no part of tying a team that LOST four straight SB's, only a Bills fan would think like that.
