Are we concerned about Beasley’s hands ?

I'm not the least bit worried about Beasley.  With that said, even though he was getting open he did make 2 mistakes that hurt the team today.

This.     Seeing the tipped interception 2x in short amount of time is concerning.

Hope he shakes it off with some 7-8 catch games.

He will.

Nope. He's a very good slot receiver. He will be open all year and a big part of this offence.

That’s what I thought from what I saw in Dallas. Now I’m beginning to wonder if I overrated him a bit, but there’s time for him to improve. Hopefully this is a case of needing to adjust to a new team.

I thought we were lucky to have him.

If someone is looking for faults in the passing game I think the total TE production of 36 yards would be the ammo......

The tight ends didn’t drop balls.     Beasley did.

You missed the pick 6 and the drop of the dime on the sideline ?

those were both close and were two plays. I'm not at all concerned with a player based off two plays in the first game of the season. I don't know, seems to me they're all trying to get acclimated with one another, something like, how many new players on offense?

the one over his shoulder was catch able the other bounced off of him, fluky play.

no, beasley doesn't concern me.

What was that trash today ?

Thought the sideline one was gonna cost us points.

No.  It happens.

Beasley is who he is:  a handsy underneath receiver who creates mismatches in the slot.

All receivers drop balls they should catch (except Hopkins, apparently).

Beasley will be a reliable target this season.  His skill set will make Allen much more effective against the blitz in checkdown situations.

I don't think 80/800 would be unreasonable.

He's not very good guys. Hes actually a liability. Hot take I know, but my cowboys friends all called him the training camp hero and regular season chump. I see why.

And if today was an average day for him, great!!

He will have 80 catches for 640 yards.  The leading receiver last year for the Bills had 652 yards.

I see a lot of people that are not concerned here.

Glad we have clear heads and not overreacting.

thank you mr jets kicker ??

We dont have to be concerned because you missed an xp and fg.

You weren’t concerned with Zays hands either, I can’t put any stock into your two cents.

And ????????     Quit rolling with the majority.    Make your own decisions

He basically gave them the pick-6. That was really bad.

Looked like a repeat of the preseason game where he did the exact same thing

Guy caught 5 of 9 targets for 40 yards.   ????

Right!!!

And yet there is no thread about our highest paid center in the league getting blown up by a rookie causing a fumble...

DC Tom needs to have a talk with you.

Go Bills!!!

Between the preseason and the issues today, I think you have to be at least A LITTLE concerned. Hopefully it's just that he's still getting used to Allen's ball. I think it'll improve. But you can't have balls deflecting over the middle.

Cowboys Twitter people were talking today about how much of an upgrade Randall Cobb is for them because he's physical. I dunno.

The deficiency I noticed more today is Levi Wallace's tackling. It looked like he got run over for nice gains twice.

I went to the open practice in South Carolina, one thing that I noticed was the velocity Allen puts on the ball with just a flip of the wrist his receivers seemed to bobble his intermediate passes and when the ball hit them you could clearly hear a "thud."  Several of his passes are catchable but he really needs to be able to put it on the money more often and make a more catchable ball and if he can do that the YACS on these short routes will increase

Beasley went 5 for 5 in one preseason game.

I still don't see a need to worry

What I’m most worried about is his ability to absorb the punishment he will get. I can’t see him playing in all 16 games. I hope I’m wrong.

I believe he has been amazingly durable thus far in his career, that better not jinx him. He does look tiny though for sure.

I thought the int was a low ball that was catchable but took an unfortunate bounce.

The 30 yd drop was up against his helmet .. he didn't adjust to the ball for a cleaner should of been catch.

Worried no... still a good day for Beasley...
