HOUSE
Josh will improve weekly and play much better sometime in October Frazer needs to go, the D played better with McD calling the plays Do not under estimate Brandon Beane, some obvious changes can still be made. As for you guys......chill 6
row_33
if they can come out in the first half like they did yesterday in the second half, consistently, i will be happy Chargers laughed during the second half, for a minute it looked like a possible comeback, but nahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..... Midwest Bills Fan
I assume you mean a season with a winning record? No way. All the things you mentioned above might happen but they are not winning 9 games this year. They play at Minnesota them at Green Bay, both very tough games and likely losses. Assume they start 0-4, they would have to go 9-3 the rest of the way and two of those games are against New England. I think Allen will continue to improve and the defense can’t play worse, but 9 wins is a dream.

I give it 25-30 percent probable at this point.

This is closer to accurate. If Allen can play we are set to turn it around quickly. We are going to have to be WAY better in FA and have to draft well.

The Bills are in dire need of OL and playmakers. I’d honestly be tempted to throw a bunch of money at Bell. He’d be your best receiver and is an elite RB. Roger Saffold is a guy that I think would help. Anthony Barr is high on the list. We have lots and lots of needs.

billsfan1959
I don't see more than 4-5 wins, at best. However, I am looking forward to seeing Allen develop throughout the year, and seeing what the team does in the draft and free agency. IMHO, it was always about (1) getting rid of players and contracts last year, (2) finding their QB and eating dead cap space this year, and (3) adding real talent next year. The success of this coaching staff and FO will rest on Allen developing into their franchise QB and their ability to evaluate talent next year.

zow2
I'll be happy if the Bills can even take a lead into halftime at some point let alone win a game. and I suspect it would have to happen via a defensive or special teams TD getting tossed into the mix. and some Allen improvement of course. Kwai San
Gonna be a looooooooooooong season. No worries tho, for you who thought otherwise will gnash your teeth and throw things at your TV - the ones who saw the Bills for what they are will relish the few brights spots as the season progresses. I sincerely hope JA doesn't have to get sacked 5+ times a game for the next 14 games.....at some point he just isn't going to bounce right back up......then where will they be???? sleeby
Well, the puppy saved your post. I think the titans in week 5 will be interesting. See how we play when the opponent also is at about our level - can we play them well? 3-4 wins is my guess.

BullBuchanan
Respectfully disagree with the OP. This may be the strongest version of the NFL during my lifetime. Currently, the Bills are the only terrible team that doesn't have any real hope. The Cardinals are a mess too, but they have the talent to right the ship. Unlike most years where there are obvious bottom feeders with no hope and a bunch of known bad QBs, every starting QB in the league is either a vet with a good past history, a young player looking to be a star, a highly touted rookie, or a future Hall of Famer. There are no Aj Feeley's, Matt Cassell's, or Brock Osweiler's littering the league. The closest you've got is Blake Bortles that just dropped 377 and 4TDs on the Patriots, while Ryan Fitzpatrick passes Joe Namath on the all time yards list while reading Rich Gannon's memoirs. You simply can not win in the NFL with the lines we have. Unfortunately you are going to have to that in the draft I believe. Hopefully they get a top 3 pick & either get Bosa or the Left tackle from Bama. That will be a good start Edited September 17, 2018 by Gordio
yungmack
Right now, every team on the schedule is better than the Bills so 0-16 would not be a shock. Still, it is almost impossible to not win at least one game by accident so my prediction is 1 to 3 wins.

John from Riverside
I think its going to be tough...the team is so devoid of talent at the important spots on the field I think they could show improvement week to week and might be playing their best ball by the end of the season

BillsfanAZ
Thinking this will be a winning season is a stretch. I am not a negative person just being realistic.....I see the Bills have a top 5 pick in next years draft. I am ok with that as long as I see Allen and Edmunds improve. Not expecting them to be good this season is a relief to my family and dogs because there wont be as much yelling at the TV. So they get a one season reprieve. After this season and a training camp as the starter, I think we will see a much improved Allen next season.....then the reprieve is over and its back to business.
