Josh Rosen has wowed his teammates with the phrase “aim small, miss small”.

What catch phrase should Josh Allen use that expresses his football philosophy?

Let’s see who can be the most creative.

You know that was from the Patriot with Mel Gibson.  Great movie

Think of it as setting expectations.

Yeah, for what it is worth.

I keep seeing EJ in the ad - "This Is Our Time".

So much for setting expectations.

Josh Allen's new catch phrase:

"Happy Trails Bitches!"

Of course the use of the term bitches would be in references to the opponents, but the bonus in using this term

is it will p#ss off feminists and extreme left wingers everywhere!

And after victories that are especially important, I say the whole team gets together and sings Happy Trails which hopefully will sound something like this:

If he doesn't make the probowl by next year, you can bet he will have an unflattering nickname.  Something like "Josh Phallen" or worse. Personally I hate the nicknames but it will happen...

yep there's Fitspatspick, and Fitsmagic. Tygod (I liked T-Mobile) and Tie Rod (didn't get it), but every QB will get both sides of the coin.

A play on his name, and part of the steering linkage on a vehicle.  More than once I've seen him referred to disparagingly as 'Balljoint' - a suspension component.

and... what makes it a nickname, or has a negative connotation? Just isn't that funny.

or clever rather

Wait a minute.  Seems to me many of us (myself included) were trying to come up with a name for Rex's defense his first year here.  But then they stepped onto the field.

Not saying that about Josh - the guy is the future, but maybe any nick names or phrases should be earned, first?

Ha, that happened on the bbmb, too.  Was "Cold Front" one of the more popular choices here?

I'm not debating the humour or lack thereof, just maintaining that the alteration of 'Tyrod' into 'Tie Rod' is a form of a nickname.  Similar to how someone who has 'III' at the end of his name is sometimes called 'Trip', short for triplet.  A nickname?  Yes.  Particularly funny or creative?  No.

How about "Buffalo Bills Franchise Quarterback"?

Kid is going to light it up.

Let’s hope so, but why not watch him play a game (or 50) before anointing him? I see no harm in that....

Time will tell.

Catching for Jesue?

You thinking 'bout Bob Griffin?

I'm afraid the reference went over my head - can only think of Robert Griffin III, but doubt that's who you mean ?

Yes, "Cold Front" was a top candidate.  I think the list got to about 30 names or so!  Well, I guess it passes time in the off-season!  :)

Yes. Osi Umenyiora was talking to the press about him before his first game:

""Who is this RG3 guy you guys keep talking about?" Umenyiora told WFAN, via the New York Post. "You talking about Bob Griffin? You guys are giving him a cool nickname already and everything. When he does anything in the NFL, we're gonna call him RG3. Right now, he's Bob Griffin.""

Thanks for clearing that up - didn't hear that story before.
