Top 5 players taken already set

I still feel like the Allen at 1 thing is suspect. I hope it’s real because then we can’t possibly end up with him. I want nothing to do with Allen. I feel like the Browns will just take Darnold and the Allen thing is BS.

I think Dorsey loves Allen. I really do. I think the Tyrod trade tipped their hand. I personally think Darnold doesn't need to sit a year but Allen does

It's very possible Darnold will need to sit.   He is sloppy with the rock and if he shows that flaw I pre-season he needs to sit.

makes sense, I think that's accurate, the question is how do the Bills buy in and at what price?

12, 22, and 56 for #5 pick...it’s a steep price to pay, but we will have competition for the pick and no one will be able to match that imo

It's pretty obvious the top 5 is already set.  The question now becomes if Denver trades from 5 and what number the QBs are slotted in.

Allen

Barkley

Chubb

Darnold

Mayfield

The 5 that will be taken in top 5 of draft.

Sooo...you have inside knowledge and every mock draft confirms that with absolute certainty that these will be the first five picks?  You are saying there is no chance whatsoever that any of the top five picks will differ at all from this?  Bold claim.  And if you're wrong about even one of them will you then return to this thread, apologize, and explain how the knowledge you claim as infallible was wrong?

...I really hate thread title absolutes.  The draft can't get here quick enough... >.<

Well at least you know his opinion.  We'll find out soon enough.

No.......it can’t possibly be soon enough!    :)

But I guess it’s sooner than it was yesterday.

I hate this three day format, BTW. Stop dragging it out for the money. Two days is plenty.

Unless someone else trades up or the giants take a QB themselves.

Anyone with a brain.

Anyone with a brain would realize that QBs are a hot commodity and that there are more than 3 teams that desperately need a good one.  I wouldn’t be surprised to see the first 4 picks being QBs,

Come now, it's pretty obvious the top five spots your glasses could be are already set.  ;)

We are all picking on the OP, but he makes a good point in a way.

We we have to figure that Barkley, Chubb, and Nelson are likely to go in the top 6, with probably 3 quarterbacks. Those guys are the blue chippers, then there is a pocket of players, Smith, Edmunds, Fitzpatrick, James etc who are all pretty closely graded, then all of the corners and offensive tackles. I do think we will be able to get a quarterback with a trade up in that 5-7, but if we really want to get our top guy, we probably need to jump the Jets or Broncos. I do think one of the top 4 will be there at 7. I still don't think we will wait.

I think that a majority of the people on this board would agree with you on this.  However the OP is telling us that the first 5 are written in stone and if we can't see that we are morons.

Likely.  We are picking on the OP because his thread title listed his prediction as an absolute certainty.

Exactly.  This is opinion being put forth as though it were fact.

If I was betting, this would be the top 5.

I do dislike opinion being presented as fact.  I try to read these with the first sentence being "In the opinion of the poster" ...........

It's rather obviously an opinion with 4+ days before the 1st round begins.  He'll either be right or not.  We'll soon see.
