It's ridiculous to think the Pegulas have any idea what they're doing. They've already proven to make bad choices with Rex, and now McDermott and Beane.

Watkins. Darby. Ragland.

Do these people even KNOW they're in Arizona? I doubt it.

If only Bon Jovi bought the team. We'd totally be winning by now.

I only hope that, for long time members here, all 35,000 plus of your posts weren't as bad as this kne.

I hadn't noticed on other threads as I wasn't in those threads you mentioned, but some friends of mine in AZ told me about it, and I had seen it on Twitter in a couple places. I don't know how valid the rumors are, but seen it in a number of places now and apparently been on sports radio talk in AZ too.

LOL Twitter probably got it from the other thread.

No it was on AZ Sports radio too this morning and rumors are in a number of places in AZ according to a couple friends I know who moved there. They aren't happy about it because they don't feel J. Browns health is reliable enough and Fitz is likely in his last year.

well done.

who the heck is JJ Nelson though

Speedster deep threat in AZ. He has shown some potential, but its been a crowded and talented WR group there, so he would be an intriguing guy at WR and give us that guy who can take the top of the D.

For those who want more info: He is a 3rd year WR and in his first 2 years in a crowded WR group in AZ, he has put up:

45 Rec for 867 yards and a 19.3 YPC with 8 TD's.

This kid is explosive. And all the talk I have seen on him after looking up how he has been doing in camp is that he has really improved his route running to become more than just a deep threat. He is a Ted Ginn type guy looking to become a more complete WR. But again, AZ has a lot of talent at WR ahead of with Fitz and both Browns. So he is expendable really for AZ at this point.

IF this were true, and we only gave up that pick to get him, I would be highly impressed! He is a good speed guy and highly capable of stretching the field. Please be true.

Yeah, rumors at this point, but they seem to all be originating out of AZ and involve the pick we got from KC. So, I am hoping where there is smoke there is fire kind of deal as I would love to pick this kid up for a 4th rounder.

151 of pure savageness.

Reminds me of the story of some guy hitting on Ava Gardner, who was dating Frank Sinatra at the time, and the guy said of Frank, "How could you be interested in that 119 pound weakling?" And Ava said, "He may only weigh 119 pounds, but 19 of it is c-ck." Edited by Kelly the Dog

so pass on this one

you are some kind of sicko.

Ava would do anything with money and influence.

she said the same thing to me.

But yes we need speed.

Correct Roscoe Parrish/Graham/Goodwin.

The track star WR always sounds great in the offseason, doesn't work so well from the trainer's room though. I'm guessing the team will bring in at least 2 WR's on Saturday without spending a pick.

God forbid we get a little speed on this team. Why wouldn't we want the entire defense within 9 yards of the LOS? This is the type of move that the Bills HAVE to make.

I understand speed. But I also don't think we need speed for speed's sake. I don't want a decoy. Does the WC offense need someone who runs fast?

Seeing JJ Nelson is the one rumored. Here is a scouting report on him.

Strengths

Shows short-area quickness, with an ability to open a throwing window on comeback routes. Has plus hands. Shows good concentration in traffic and does an above-average job of high-pointing ball and competing for throws. Grabs it, tucks it and gets moving quickly. Return specialist. Returns punts and kicks. Had dominant season as kick returner with 38.7 return average and four touchdowns.

Weaknesses

Tiny receiver. Very timid in run blocking, with little desire to try to help as run blocker. Lacks suddenness and twitch off the ball expected from smaller receivers. Routes are rounded and lack sharpness for separation. Play speed underneath is marginal. Lacks shiftiness after catch to be consistent catch-and-run threat as a pro.

Draft Projection

Round 7 or priority free agent

Bottom Line

Rail-thin slot receiver at the next level, but missing the suddenness and "after-the-catch" talent desired for that position. Getting drafted might be a long shot, but his kick-return numbers will have teams taking a close look at him as a specialist.
