The Pats never wore red on red that I can remember. The stripes on these jerseys are different and the pants are red too. I don't even see any connection with the old Pats uniforms. Nike isn't a "sponsor" -- they're the league's officially licensed equipment provider. This is so not a big deal. It will be a fun game to watch -- wish they were playing on Boise State's blue field. Honestly, it's another way for them to sell more jerseys as some people will want the red now that it's available. I wonder if they will go red for any other games or only the Thursday night game?
