  1. When he did the quarterback draft with Mina Kimes, Nate Tice made a comment about some of Josh Allen's turnovers make him crazy for a few seconds and he thinks "why would you even attempt that throw," but then when he thinks about it he realizes, "Oh yeah, I've seen him complete that pass like six times in a row." (Btw, both he and Kimes said they had Allen as the clear number 2 QB in the league.) So, part of the issue is what other sports might call usage rate. Allen is involved in so many of the plays that, of course, he is going to have more turnovers. However, the other issue is that he attempts throws nobody else should because he completes passes nobody else can on the regular.
  2. Remember that hit by Nate Clements (think it was him). He'd probably get ejected in today's game for that hit on Brady.
  3. Unfortunately, he's a Doug Marrone/Nate Hackett guy. I tend to give LaFluer all the credit for the success in Green Bay.
  4. Agreed, he is not a refined route runner and separator which is part of the reason he looked bad at the senior bowl but he is an excellent deep ball tracker and the long speed is real. Felt like he really good game against Nate Wiggins who is a really good corner on a day that Maye really struggled against Clemson. Late in the second I could see him being one of the better receivers left if their is a run like expected

  6. lol @ Nate "Allen running into danger? He says "I am the danger!"
  7. I mention this somewhere else, but I listen to a lot of the podcasts with the film and scout guys. Daniel Jeremiah, Mel Kiper, Nate Tice, Dane Brugler... etc. They stress that when scouting a prospect you really value the highs. Coleman's highs look pretty darn good. And I really think it's what he does on punt returns more than anything that convinces me to that the skepticism of his athleticism and potential is overblown.

  9. Nate rightly or wrongly learned how to play the game. I guarantee he is the most dedicated backup QB in the game right now. He’s getting the starter coffee, turning on the projector, prepping the film. he’s probably doing it all. Good for him. His body wouldn’t allow him to be an NFL player, but he’s gonna get an NFL pension because he knows his role and does it the best.
  10. Simms picks Buffalo; Bill takes Pittsburgh; Nate takes Buffalo Boomer takes Buffalo.
  11. I'm fine with the Bills taking a close look at anybody who might help the offense be more effective, as long as his name isn't Nate Hackett.
  12. Kelly could never excel in a traditional offense and Rodgers likes Nate Hackett. Sorry but I can't endorse AVP as a OC.
  13. 🚨🚨🚨NATE PETERMAN IS IN THE GAME 🚨🚨🚨
  14. With the 15th pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, the Indianapolis Colts select Laiatu Latu, DE, UCLA. The Colts went into the draft with a huge need at Corner and would’ve selected Quinyon Mitchell if available. However, the board didn’t fall in favor of that to take place. We gave strong consideration to Nate Wiggins, but ultimately went with the most complete pass rusher in the draft. He passed our medical exams at the combine, and has enjoyed back to back healthy/productive seasons at UCLA. With all the new young guns in the division, what better way to counter, than to bolster the pass rush. @NeverOutNick and the Seattle Seahawks are now on the clock.
  15. With the 15th pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, the Indianapolis Colts select Jared Verse, DE, FSU…go NOLES! The Colts went into the draft with a huge need at Corner and would’ve selected Quinyon Mitchell if available. However, the board didn’t fall in favor of that to take place. That being said, Verse is far and away the best player available on our draft board. We also considered Latu, but had injury concerns, and Nate Wiggins, who is a bit undersized (light in the pants). Verse was the cleanest prospect left. With all the new young guns in the division, what better way to counter, than to bolster the pass rush.
  16. What killed Super XXVIII is after the Nate Odomes interception we couldn't punch in a TD before the end of the first half. I think if we do our spirits are high and if Thurman still fumbles it's not as devastating.
  17. Why does Nate Geary sound like a dejected turd? Dude lose his parlay?
  18. Nate Geary @NateGearySports The Bills have held to Chiefs to just 3 third downs to far tonight. Not a winning formula. Whatever McDermott did this week was a complete waste of time. The defense blows.......
  19. I see it differently. Aaron Rodgers is one of the greatest QBs ever to play the game. His yards per attempt is 7.7 vs. 7.4 for Tom Brady. Rodgers' INT percentage is 1.4, compared to 1.8 for Brady. There are areas where Brady's numbers are better than Rodgers, such as career passing yards and number of Super Bowl rings. But there's no denying that Rodgers is a great player. He comes across well in his press conferences. Like a laid back regular guy, who sometimes demonstrates a good sense of humor. If you wanted to point out negatives about him, the most obvious is that he plays for a division rival. He's exerted too much influence over coaching (Nate Hackett) and personnel decisions. But you look at a lot of other guys in the NFL, and they're being arrested or sued for cruelty to dogs, or breaking boys' legs, or beating up women, or grinding on flight attendants without consent. If injuries must happen, I'd rather they happen to guys like those, as opposed to someone like Rodgers.

  21. I thought the Kyle Brandt take was interesting for a similar reason. He said it's hard to imagine that Diggs relationship with Josh Allen or his relationship with the Bills "or both" had nothing to do with this, because both were "mercurial at best". Kyle has been a Josh Allen fan-boy for a couple of years, and we can probably assume he has a bit of "tea" in the pot "off the record" there. I agree with Nate that Josh's input was probably sought (not his vote as Geary implies, but his input), and that if Josh had said "He's My Guy" and went to the mat, it probably doesn't go down, at least not for a bag of peanuts and a case of that underwear Stef and his brother shill for.
