Idk what’s going on with Rapp but I’d imagine the team is about ready to give up on him as well.  He was pretty serviceable last year which probably gave him a longer leash but he’s been about as bad as you can be this year lol 

 

feels like bishop is getting better to me but he has been the victim of an unfortunate lowlight where he has to tackle a massive running back one on one in the open field a few times haha 

 

assuming Palmer stays healthy(which I don’t think you can assume unfortunately) if you could only pick one player to add I think a safety would be the bigger impact but we really need both.  If you’re going into a hugely important game with just Shakir though and no Kincaid/palmer wr would be the bigger add

It was a good trade because he did help some and who cares that we lost a 3rd rounder,  that could have easily been another Beane bust pick.  I have no issues trading our second and 4& 5th picks to get a receiver and DB help

I think it was more that the lack of time to develop a chemistry with Josh & Brady didn't scheme him into the offense very well, I think he had something to give to the team and I think he would probably if given the time to work with Josh could give more than either of the 2 WR's the Bills got this year .

 

Moore has shown pretty much nothing and Palmer has flashed but that's about it which tells me all I need to know of the why they were both available when the Bills were looking to add to the WR room ...

 

It wouldn't hurt my feelings if Beane talked Cooper out of retirement I think if they would have offered him something to come back to the Bills he would still be playing .

I hope Bean does something, but unless he does more than one thing, it won't be enough.  Right now this roster is terrible.  Take JA out and replace him with a mid-level starter and it's a 1-5 team at best.  At this point, whatever Bean does to fix his past errors is just a bandaid.  A WR gives us a chance to cover the massive defesive deficiencies that have led to us being carved up by a bunch of mid-level QBs.  We need, at least, the following: an actual #1 WR, (DJ Moore would be ideal), an actual safety.  With a WR and safety we may have enough to contend for the SB, but that's a big if, because we still need a LB (ours are always hurt due to McFranklin's obsession with small LBs), and a CB.  We could also use a RB2 to cover for Cook so he's not on track to lead the NFL in rushes.  

 

I've just depressed myself.  This roter is really, really bad for having a franchise QB.

I mean his angle on bijan was bad, but i think that was kind of on ingram not pushing him back inside at all.  Like He just full sprinted to try and save a TD, i'm not sure he was in the wrong place on the play.  He seems like the type to keep battling, which i can appreciate.

Davis played 2 snaps in this one... its hard to say we need someone when we just don't use the ones we have.

Metcalf in his prime was right there for the taking. Would not have even needed to give up a 1. They will continue to try the low budget wish solution until Allen is 38.

It was a good trade. He woudl still be the best WR on the team right now. Would take him back for a 3/4 season rental again if no other trades can be made.

 

Beane needs to swallow his pride and realize Coleman is no better than a WR#4 in this league.  Josh needs help. Cooper's presence last year opened everything up and he had the three of the best WR plays of all last year.

People cite Olave’s injury history and i actually think he is 100% worth the gamble. We signed Morse who had a streak of concussions but then he went awhile without one and was solid for a time.

Rapp has been horrible this season.  The numbers show that.  He used to be one of the tacklers in the NFL.  Now he often misses tackles.  He’s taken bad angles all season, and is out of position often.  It’s so bad- I much prefer Poyer starting over Rapp.  Rapp has lost his mojo

Skilled WR is number 1 need IMO.  Beane should of stocked WR room with 5 quality WRs yesterday, I mean 5 years ago.
